Angel Quilt and Bambi

Hello Blog friends!! The day before new years eve. I am thinking we all need a little extra looking after the end of this year and the whole of next year!! If you are in good shape financially, I am so happy for you!! Most people are not!! I am praying that our angels will take extra good care of us through the rest of this year and all of next year!!! May 2010 be healthy and prosperous for us all!!!! The Angel Quilt was quilted by a Grandmother for her Grandson.
It is done in 1 and a half inch pieces of fabric. It is a very large quilt. The sweet lady who made it died less than a year after finishing it. I wish you all a healthy and prosperous new year !!!!

This is our 12 year old sweet rescue dog Bambi as she looks today!! She is in pretty good shape for her age. The only problem she has is lumps that are growing here and there on her body, and the vet and Maggie from Maggie and Mitch say that a lot of older dogs get those lumps and unless there are growing in the very wrong place they will not be a problem.
May your guardian angels take good care of you.
I love my blog friends very much, thank-you for being there for us here at the animal lovers blog!!

  1. My Grandpa Angus got those old dog bumps and they didn't bother him at all, but it is important to keep an eye on them.

Hope you have a wonderful new year!

  5. I was going to tell you that unless the vet confirmed that those lumps are cancerous, they are nothing to worry about. All my old dogs have gotten them. They are fatty lumps and harmless. Princess doesn't have any yet, and I've been surprised by that.

The quilt is beautiful for sure!

  6. The khwilt is furry nice!

Tank woo fur sharing it AND furry sharing Bambi!

Yes, most lumps aren't an issue - but they need to be watched!

    Happy ALMOST 2010!

  7. What a beautiful angel quilt, Fern! I've been very lucky that my lumps are just fatty tumors and nothing more serious! Paws crossed it stays that way!

  9. The quilt is lovely. What a lot of work she put into it.

Unfortunately as dogs age they tend to get lumps and bumps. We check them all out, but most of them are just age related.

Happy New Year to your family, both the 2 and 4 footed members.

  10. Thank you for the well wishes for everyone, Fern. Thankfully, we're rich with friends and family.
Don't worry about Bambi, we've had some older dogs with lumps and bumps and they were nothin'. I'm sure she'll be fine. :)
