Feeling less uncomfortable today

The organic food --- as much as we can find of it with out a WHOLE FOODS MARKET does make a difference in your body it really does!!  Not eating sweets!!!  Eating very little meat!!!  No white flour!!!
lots and lots of vegetables and fruit and whole grains makes such a big difference in everyone who changes their lifestyle to include these healthy things it seems like a miracle but it works!!!  It doesn't work over night but it will work for you if you are true to the plan!!!
I use to get hurt and hurt for months and months now it is only days!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

I am hurting

The weeks race by don't they????????

I am hurting again and I don't have a clue what happened to cause it.  Two days ago I woke up feeling normal then we walked and soon after that I started the body discomfort..... It has slowly gotten more uncomfortable as the time went by.  I am going to have to stop most everything----darn!!! 

I have this cervical spin that I have broken or cracked some vertebra's in years passed and every so often something cracks just a tiny bit more and end up being in pain for a while!!!!!  We have been to lots of doctors and there is nothing that we can afford to do for it so I just suffer for a while!!!  After time It passes.  I use to be in trouble sometimes for years but now that we are working so hard to be healthy the pain usually only lasts for days now.

Our predator killed again last night

The big bad Predator killed again last night.  I feel so sorry for the poor babies that have died from her mouth .!!! A possum last light at a little after 9:30Pm.  It was a full grown possum too. She is so quick!!!  It is over for those critters really fast.  Zoie doesn't mess around at all.  She kills fast!!!  That is one good thing!!!  
The mosquitoes here are so bad that we can't spend a lot of time outside in the day time--they eat US A LIVE!!!!  We have to get some walking in after dark to get any exercise at all hardly!!!

Possum's are really not as bad as people think they are, they just act like they are bad.  Most are not pretty either, poor babies!!!
The ticks are getting really bad now too.  I am getting at least one a day now!!!  How are the ticks in your neighborhood?????

Happy has gotten Senile

Happy is getting so senile!!!!!!  She is forgetting where her cat box is and doing her business on the floor, on the rug or any where she is at the time. I watch her like a hawk so I can grab her and run for the cat box but we usually don't make the box b/c she just lets go and she is making an even bigger mess!!  I think she needs to go to the bridge but Tom says NO !!!!  Just b/c she can not member where her food is or her cat box is no reason to put her down but it is me that is with her all day every day!!!
Making soup today!!

Happy Sunday-- cooking tomorrow!!!

Happy Sunday dear friends!!  I'll be cooking  tomorrow b/c today I forgot that I had something on the stove and about burned up the pot!!!!  I am forgetting more and more all the time.  So tomorrow when I am cooking I am staying in the kitchen and not forgetting what i am doing!!!!!!!!

Mosquitoes are every where here

Happy new week-end coming tomorrow !!!   They really roll around so fast and I never get all things done I had planed to do.  Are you that way too???????????
We are going to have our usual week-end.  Farmers market and groceries stores.  It takes 3 or 4 grocery
stores to get what we want, the quality we want too!!!  How about you???  Do you go to the store and bring home what they have to offer or are you picky and go to many stores to find the quality you want???

Today is our 30th Anniversary

Thirty year ago today we were married forever and ever!!!!!!!!  This one was going to last and so far so good!!!  We are living hand to mouth now a days.  It has not always been that way.  Tom is very good at what he does but there hasn't been the big jobs now for years.  Things for us started going down hill on 9-11.  Tom had no business for 3 months!!!!  Then the got a hernia  and needed surgery . We have no health insurance !!!  I use to handle the household money.  I paid all bills and bought what we needed  for years for the house and land.  Paid taxes and insurance everything.  I had saved over 34,000 thousand dollars!!    In 2010 Tom had his surgery after living with his hernia for 4 years.  It took all our rainy day money so now we have nothing to fall back on.  His business has been lumping alone but weeks will go by with no income at all.  Then he will get some business but then after that is over it is nothing again for a while and things are falling apart !!!  The house needs painting so badly!!!!   Oh  OH  I am sorry I got off the subject!!!!   Our anniversary!!!!!  It has been in spit of what I just said a very good marriage!!!  We are very happy with each other.   We have had and do have a wonderful marriage!!!

Happy is still Boss

Happy week-end dear friends!!!! It is going to be another HOT one so Hot outside you really can't get much work done out there.  Between the heat and the bugs and ticks you really don't want to be out there much!!!
Happy is still boss!!! She is still sleeping in Zoie crate, in fact Zoie is not allowed in Happy's crate any more.  Zoie takes it all in stride!!!  She couldn't care less!!!  She sleeps in Bambi little chair with a bench for an extension!

She is afraid of bangs

Happy happy 4th of July dear friends.
We got an inch of rain last afternoon !!!!!!!  Praise the LORD!!!!!  Zoie has been with us 8 months today and yesterday in all that time we had had no thunder and lightening!!  But yesterday afternoon I found out just how afraid she was of loud bangs!!!  Then to top it all off after the storm people started setting off fireworks and we could hear them loud and clear.  Poor Zoie,  BIG Zoie,  jump the fence Zoie wanted to be between my legs all afternoon and evening!!!!  She was so afraid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well we have learned more about Zoie!!!!! 
Hope you enjoy your day today.  It is date night for Tom and I.  We have been having our date nights for almost 30 years now!!!!  Still look forward to them too!!!

Need rain

We need another tropical storm!  Everything is getting very dry very fast.  With temperatures getting up to 100 and feel like temps as high as 115 the things in the garden dry out fast.  The strawberries have finally given up and are no longer giving fruit.  We have lots in the freezer!!! 
The garden is giving faster then I can keep up.  Cooked 35 lbs of squash yesterday and Sunday!!!  Cooked a very large pot of soup.
Cooked a large pot of critter food.   Cooked a big pot of green beans and pear barley for Zoie. I have been cooking up a storm, thank God for AC!!!!!  I could not do that without AC!! I was telling Sue from Mitch and Molly that I lived in this house for 25 years before we got central AC!! It would get so hot in the kitchen we did a lot of cooking and eating outside.

I know how she is getting out

I saw Zoie leave the fence Saturday !!!!!!!!!!!!!  We were walking our last walk of the day a little after 9 PM.  We were in the far back south-east corner,  Zoie sees a cat in her yard !!!!  She went full speed to catch the cat.  That cat flew over the fence and  SO DID ZOIE !!!!! Right over the fence almost like it wasn't there.  The cat got up a big oak tree and was safe but there was Zoie at the bottom of that tree.
She wouldn't come to me.  I had to go get her!!!  Now I know how she is getting out ---she jumps the  6 ft fence!!!!
I let her out at 2 am Sunday and she took off like a short and was gone for hours. She wasn't back were the cat had been!!  I looked  She spent 3 hours out before she came home to the front gate to be let in to sleep most of Sunday.  She had worn herself out looking for that cat. It turned out good tho b/c the heat was unbearable Sunday!!!  You couldn't be outside!!
 I am sorry I didn't replay to your comments last post.  Been cooking up a storm and have to do that all day today too.
 I will repay to comments later today and tomorrow and the next!!!
