Baby Quilt Top done!!!

How is the time to square it up. Then get it ready for batting and backing, and basting. I quilt on my Viking one plus. I think I will quilt it in wavy lines, with variegated thread. I will keep you up dated as I go along.

I took some pictures with my film camera. Most of the pictures are of the animals. I got a good picture of my favorite coon Pretty Boy. I want to show you here on the blog. I have been feeding
him most all of his life. There has been times when I will not see him for weeks, than he shows up with a family. A mother and 3 babies. He will be so proud. Isn't he pretty!!!
See you again soon, I hope.

Wow that sounds complicated!!! You quilters now. Maybe see you tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!!!

No sewing room today!

It rained last night about 1o nimutes. It was acid rain. So this morning I went out and hand sprayed the herbs and vegetable plants we have . It was the first rain we had had since May 29th. If you do not spray the acid off it will hurt the plants. It has been HOT and very dry!! We had ,had 7 days of over 100 degrees. With another one to come today.
Well sweet beans & animals maybe tomorrow.

Hurt myself, again!!!!!!

Yesterday when I went out to feed & put fresh water out for the coons, I really hurt myself! It was the last time for the day. My Tom ran water lines to the back fence about 25 years ago. So I have a faucet right by the gate. That faucet gets a lot of use! It does not turn off like it use to!!
You have to really turn off the water, hard!! I turned the water off HARD! I pulled a mussel! My whole hand is swollen, & red. I am typing with my left hand only. Dr. Tom said I was not to do anything today, but put ice & then heat, then ice again on my hand. So I am putting ice & hot & ice again. I have only been out to feed & water once today. I will go out again when Tom comes home & he will turn off the water for me if I ask nicely.
See you all next time

Started a baby quilt top yesterday

I have never been much for patterns. I usually do my own thing. I
have made clothes, household things, and quilts. I have also made wallets and hand bags without a pattern. Yesterday I started a baby quilt top using a pattern, and it is hard!! A 6 inch block has 13 pieces in it. It is called a spinner, and it is suppose to be easy!! But for me, no.
I should be making my chair, arm covers, but you quilters know, we sometime get sidetracked. So next time I blog I will tell you how things are going.
I wish I had a digital camera, I could show you the start of my quilt top. It sure would make my blog more interesting! See you next time.

Ashamed

Yes I am ashamed I have not blogged in so long, and ashamed I have not done any quilting!!! I commented on Margerita's blog today, telling her about all the animals I take care of, and I did not tell her about ALL the animals! I realized when commenting how much time I spend for the animals. I told about all the water containers I have outside for all the critters, that I clean and put fresh water in everyday of the year no matter what! Freezing cold or raining cats and dogs!
Everyday!!! I also feed lots of animals too. I go out to do something for the animals 4 or 5 times aday.
I know I am not suppose to feed the wild animals but when I moved here my neighbor was feeding the possums and raccoons. He moved away 30 years ago and I have been feeding them every since. There was a time when I was feeding 3 foxes too. So it takes a lot of time!
See you next time.
