Happy is in the house!!! Then it is cold outside you can bet she is in the house. Happy is a southern cat. She doesn't like the cold at all!!! It has been real cold. It is cold enough to snow but we don't have the dampness so it will not snow today, but they are talking about it maybe Wednesday night.
We lost are tomatoes Saturday night!!!! We will miss them like crazy!! They have been giving and giving all summer and fall and right up till Saturday night. We had fresh tomatoes Saturday night for dinner!!! We will start new seeds in February for our spring and summer garden.
It is always fun to see the little green shoots come up from the soil.
Today is Karen's Birthday. Happy Birthday Karen!!! I wish I knew how to post links but I do not. I would tell you all to go over and say Happy Birthday to her. Maybe I'll learn before the day is done!!
I love all my blog friends so much!! You all do so so much for my good health!! Mentally and my body you help everyday. That is why I am going to try to blog everyday. I am on the computer way too much but so what, you make me happy!!!! I comment a few times than Bambi and I go out and walk. Then back on and more comments.
Love you, Bambi, Happy & Fern

  6. Hi Fern,
Great post...as for the links. at the top of the pagewhere you post your pictures and type there is a tool bar. There a little icons (pictures) of things like B for bold, I for italics and an icon that looks like a chain link. Say you want to link to Karen's page...you highlight her name, write down her blog address on a piece of paper then go to the icon that looks like a chain link you click on it you will get a block to type her blog address in. Once you type it in click ok. When you get back to your page you'll see her name underlined.
Good luck if I can help anymore let me know.
    Hugs Cecilia

  7. Tomatoes! Garden tomatoes! Not those red things in the market pretending to be tomatoes. Oh Fern, what a treat. Lucky you. Too bad mean old Jack Frost took them away.

Happy Birthday to Karen. And extra purrs for the happiest of days.

  9. Hi Fern, glad to see kitty is nice and warm inside.

Too bad you lost your tomatoes. :( We have Heirloom tomatoes around here almost year round. Hmmm Hmm, my favorite! They are so ugly but so sweet and delicious!

  10. We're sorry you lost your tomatoes, but we're not surprised. Our family on the Florida panhandle have had freezing temperatures for three nights in a row. It's wickedly cold.

Thanks for being our friend. It feels very special.
    Love
    Jake and Fergi xxoo
