This morning we had a real bad thunder storm. We had 5 inches of rain in 4 hours. We had hail. There was a lot of flooding around Town. Maybe 2 tornadoes. We here at Reeds, no flooding, no tornadoes, just a lot of rain and lightening. I stayed off the computer until all had passed. I thank Tom for no flooding !!! He has done a lot of work sculpting the land so that when we have a inch of rain in an hour it runs off where he wants it to go.
The other first is a Frisbee. She has never had a Frisbee before. She is very interested in it but can't figure out what to do when I throw it to her. She can catch a ball so I think she will figure it out !!

Thanks for coming.
Love you all lots, Bambi and Fern
I am glad that she likes the rawhides and the squeeky toys, I figured she she is a bigger dog that she might like a frisbe, so just keep working with her, she will get it.

Hi Fern,
ReplyDeleteIt's so sweet to hear Bambi got some new gifts and they were firsts for her. It'll be nice when the weather warms up and she can practice catching her frisbee.
Hugs,
Stella, Gunther and Betty
What a great way to spend a rainy day .... patiently waiting ... chewing a rawhide ... and learning to play Frisbee! Sounds perfect!

I am glad you didn't get flooded. That is a lot of rain in a short time. Glad that Bambi is having a good time playing with her new toys. ~Hugs, Karen
ReplyDeleteI think everyone is in fear of flooding. They have had to release water from the Buck Dam (that is close to where I live) because of the freezing.
ReplyDeleteBambi looks so happy with her pressies. Isn't it wonderful that she's enjoying them.
