Bambi Late Afternoon and a Camellia

Yesterday was a nice day. We had a high temperature of 63, the sun was out most of the day. It was a very nice winter day. Bambi and I walked 4 times yesterday. When we have good weather we like to get as many walks in as possible. The next might not be as good of a walking day.
The picture above is yesterday late afternoon. The sun had started setting. Shadows were deep.
Bambi felt or smelled something underground. She stopped to smell or feel. There was a mole, I saw the ground move. I talked her out of killing it and we moved on. In her younger day, there would have been no way I could have talked her out of killing that poor mole!!!!!!!!!!
But she is an old girl now and she moves slower and rarely kills anything!!!
We have many many Camellias bushes in our yard. This time of year is there time to shine!!!
The bushes are full of blooms!! I just love them!!! I thank God for them everyday and many more things too!!!
Have a very good day!!!
Thank you so much for coming!!! Come again soon. If you are not a follower, please become one.
Love you all , Bambi, Happy and Fern

  2. Hi Fern and gang, Love this post-especially the warm weather. Love the Camellia's as well; our Sadie girl(who we lost Christmas night)always loved to chase moles and dive in the holes after them. Have a wonderful weekend.
    Hugs, Noreen

  5. Good Morning Fern, Happy and Bambi,

Our Mom just loves seeing your beautiful flowers - she admires anyone that can have a flower growing. She has a bit of a brown thumb in that area and can kill a house plant faster than you can say "Scat Cat".

Hope you have a great weekend - we're looking for snow to start tonight and have up to 17 inches predicted.

    XOXO

  6. Morning Fern
What a lovely flower. I know you are glad to have warm temperatures again. NC is expecting a major snow event for us anyway. It will start early evening as sleet and continue until Sat. afternoon.
Madi has many spots to relax including the couches, beds chairs etc. Lots of Madi hair everywhere. Madi and Mom
