Flowers Today

Hey Blogville Friends, As you can see my Amaryllis are blooming. I look forward every year to when they bloom!! I love there big beautiful flower heads..... A critter chewed on one before it was even ready to bloom, but that is life when you live with so many critters. It happens every year, a critter will test one out to see if he likes it. Thank Goodness they don't.
There is my jalapeno's that are blooming like mad.. We are already eating jalapeno's about every other day now!! We have a pepper big enough to join us for dinner almost everyday already!! People we have the best dinners you would every eat. Between the farmers market and our garden we are eating like kings!!
I wish you all were eating as healthy as we were.

Love coming your way, Bambi, Happy & Fern

  1. Peppers are just about my favorite vegetable to get from the garden - along with some tomatoes!! I'm just getting ready to start my plants today, but I planted onions when we have a warm snap about 6 weeks ago and they are almost ready to eat - I like to eat them young and green - and they are about 8 inches tall now. YUM!!

  2. Love seeing your garden grow! Waiting for more snow today....keep smiling!

  3. I could indeed benefit from eating a bit more healthy...Don't ask me what I had for lunch....

I hope your week is going well Fern!!

  4. Your Amaryllis is just beautiful, Fern. Too bad a critter had to take a bite out of it!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  5. Living near a farm stand while having a bountiful vegetable garden of your own certainly is the best way to stay healthy and off of processed foods, etc. I find it amazing that you have a blooming garden already but I forget sometimes that you live down south where the spring season has begun. Unfortunately, NH is only starting to understand that it is spring time!

  6. Wow blooming peppers already! And your flowers are sooooo pretty :)

    Wyatt, Stanzie and Mom

  7. I wish I could plant my amaryllis in the ground...too cold here!
    Yours are beautiful!
    Hugs Girlfriend!

  8. I didn't know peppers BLOOMED! Gosh. Isn't it Most Wonderful how something can taste good and be pretty to look at, too?

    Wiggles & Wags,

  9. I'm so jealous--we are months away from getting much produce from our home garden.
