Tom had a good Father's day--thank you for all your comments yesterday!!  We had wonderful weather.  It was a little too hot but not 100 degrees thank GOD!!!!  It has been harvest harvest in the garden.  Yesterday I brought in 26 tomatoes all of them beautiful!!!  We had a chicken stir-fry with lots of then in there. Our egg plaint and herbs and banana peppers were in there too.  We had our cucumbers and nasturtiums in our salad so we had a lot from our garden!!!   Had a great dinner!!  What did you have for dinner yesterday??????????????

Love coming your way, Zoie & Fern

    1. We are growing 4 plants of the cherry tomatoes too.. They are so sweet so good!!! Goose, Zoie doesn't like tomatoes or strawberries or bananas. She likes red cabbage, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, cauliflower, peas, and broccoli!!! She will eat things that have tomatoes in it but not just tomatoes.

  4. Hi Fern, we had Ahi tuna. We just marinate it in sesame seed oil, lime juice, soya sauce and fresh ginger, plop it into a hot frypan and sear both sides and out it comes, onto a plate ready to eat. (It's still raw inside). Yum, yum.

    1. Oh that sounds really really good. It doesn't need cooking thru b/c the marinate cooks it. I will try it sometime, thank you for telling me.

  5. Glad Don had a nice Fathers Day! The garden veggies sound so good as does the stir fry. My internet has been coming and going for 2 weeks. It got real bad Friday. I was without the internet for the weekend! We will hook up another wi-fy this evening. Then I should be up and running again. Keep your fingers crossed. Have a good one Miss Fern. Hugs, Karen

  6. We had the whole family plus friends over. 25 people in all. We had a great time and the weather was nice enough that folks sat outside and some played yard games (corn hole and yard darts). It was meat-city here. Ribs, pulled pork and country boil (sausage, shrimp, potatoes and corn). My husband did it all. He loves to cook for a large group.

  8. We had BRATWURSTS! Well, okay...mom and dad did. But they shared a little teensy bit with us and they were YUMMY!

Did you know it's close to 100 degrees here in Collie-rado today? We almost NEVER gets that hot. I thought my brindle furs were gonna melt right off when we went for our walkie.
