  2. Hi Liz,
I am doing pretty good body wise. Thank Goodness!!! But I get down at times!!! A little blue sometimes. Sometimes I think about some friends that I wish would call so we could talk. But I have no cell phone and no long distance, so it would only go one way and I fell funny about asking someone to call. What do you think??

  3. I hope there will be no hurricanes headed your way or to the oily mess in the Gulf!
I remember living through several hurricanes in SAv'h!...I don't like them one bit at all!

  4. Well hey, let's celebrate Hurricane Season! Does it involve any pressies too? If so, I'd like another kid-on mouse cos I've gnawed my way through this one.

Also, I'd like Santa to get rid of the ginger furball that is inhabiting my home right now! I'll write more of this on my blog as it's a great way to get out your anger I feel.

  6. Yes, I understand Fern. Although you could say something like, "Hey give me a call sometime and we'll chat!" That might get a call from your friend who does have a cell phone or long distance. Good luck!

  7. Enjoyed the e-mail. We don't have hurricanes right where we live, and rarely have big storms. So we're lucky.

  8. That was cute! Sorry I haven't been around much. What can I say -- it's summer and it's nice outside. Not long lived in this state. I will try to do better, my friend! Keep smiling!

  12. Well. If we can find just the right time, we'll share this with Gramma. But we're not too sure she'll laugh. Or even chuckle. She is a huge worrier during Hurry Cane season. We have to admit. It is scary. And this year it's even worse ... that horrible oil is getting all stirred around.

  13. Hi Fern,

I know what you mean about getting down, someone told me to think about what you have achieved in a day just before you nodd off in bed, in the morning think about what you are going to do really well and plan it.

  14. Hi Fern I enjoyed the hurricane and Christmas story. Very true too.

Take care. I'm going by my Dad's after work to pick up 30 fresh tomatoes out of his garden. Just like last year they all came in at one time. I expect I'll be stewing a few to freeze for sauces.
