Mondays Memories- Joker and Don's wedding day

Hi blog friends. We have another lovely day. It is suppose to get to 84 degrees!! We have kinda skipped over spring and gone right to summer. We have a wonderful Easter. Tom and I have been doing a lot of work in the yard the last 3 days. When it gets finished I will show it to you.

Monday Memories is of Joker, my rescued Ibsen Hound. Joe was 5 and a half years old when I got him and was not use to to living in a home with a family. He had lived in a kennel all his life. He lived with us for over 7 wonderful years. He died of kidney failure.

The picture below is of my second born son on his wedding day. It turned out Don was not cut out for marriage. His marriage only lasted one year. That was a lot of years ago now and he has not tried it again. He has a girlfriend tho that he has been with for about 3 three years. Maybe one day they will marry.

Thank you all for coming to my blog and leaving a comment and for being a follower. I love you all!!!!!!
Us bloggers love our comments.
Until next time, Bambi, Happy & Fern

  3. We love hearing about rescued dogs with happy endings. We're just sad they have to be rescued in the first place.

  7. I agree with Scotsmad..we love reading rescue stories but wish they didn't have to be rescued in the first place. But thank goodness for people like you and other bloggers who love a rescued dog! Hugs and wags, Mistaya

  8. We like when rescues find their forever home - they should never be somewhere they are not loved and cared for. Glad it is warm where you are - can you send some sun here? We can send you rain?

Sometimes some people just aren't made for marriage - love the photo - D collects wedding photos - not sure why - but she loves the old ones best - strange we know...

    Have a good week

  10. Hi Fern,
Nice pictures. It is going to be 91 here today and the city is covered in pollen...they say the worst in many many years. I hope it rains as predicted on Thursday. At least one layer of pollen will be washed away.

  11. Hi Madi and Mom,
We are knee deep in pollen too. Everybody is complaining of allergies. They say we might hit 90 degrees today too. We are perdicted to have rain Thursday as well. I sure hope we do!!!! On the good side all the plants are so happy!!!
Love you Madi and Mom, Happy & Fern

  12. It's rainy here today. Joker was a lucky dog to have found you. Some people just don't deserve to be owned by a dog or cat or any other animals.
I just posted(well the girls posted)about Buddy(a rescued dog) and what the girls are going in honor of him.
