Big garden Memories

Big Garden Memories is for sure this picture above!!! The years I had the big garden going I had a bouquet of fresh cut flowers on the kitchen table everyday!!!!! I have fresh cut flowers in the living room and sometimes in my bathroom. Tom didn't want flowers in his bathroom, but every once in a while he got a rose. To look at this yard now you would never believe it is the same place. With Tom's hernia he does very little in the yard now a days. When you drive in the driveway you would think no one lives there.
We had our storms this AM. One tomato got injured, something must have hit it in the wind. I hope I can save it. I have 7 tomato's growing. We had 2 inches of rain, a lot of wind so I have a lot of limbs to pick up.
This is Friend!! He came to us in 86. He was a strange dude!!! He was a constant companion
when I was out side in the garden. When I walked Joker he always started the walk with us and about a half a block away he would sit and wait until we came back!!! Greeting us as if we had been gone days.
Good memories!!
Love you guys, Bambi, Happy & Fern

PS I forgot to tell you all that, this is my 200 post!!!

  2. What pretty flowers. I understand about your lovely garden. Since we are making the move there has been no gardening. I am missing my beautiful Hostas and Lilies and may not get any until next spring. So much to do when we are moving 2 states away! But I am sure the ocean scenes will sooth "my plant missing heart" for awhile...I hope!!! Gail

  4. Hi Fern, Sorry I haven't stopped by to comment much lately but I do read you. Love the flowers! We've been getting so much rain and wind that I can't be out gardening either-plus we don't dare plant until the middle of next month. Hope you have a wonderful week!

  13. Hi Fern and Happy Monday,
I enjoyed reading this post...I do hope Tom can get the hernia repaired soon. I know how bothersome they can be. My hubby had double hernia surgery many years ago.

  15. Congrats on your 200th post! I look forward to the next million! Hope your dizzy spells have gotten better....I had a thought....you should have Tom rub your shoulder area. Sometimes you can get a knotted up muscle that can make you dizzy....worth a try....take care! Keep smiling!

I hope you can save your tomatoes. Funny to say but those seedlings are like little babies. We get sad when something happen to those seedlings.
    Have a nice day!
