Family Day and me when I was young

Hi blog friends. Sunday is for family!!! Meet my Mother -in law. This picture was taken in 96. Her name is Pat Reed. Toms Dad died in 82 one week after mine exactly!!! My Dad died and we went to Daytoma and while we were gone his Dad died. Pat is still alive and very healthy. She has remarried. In the picture she is wearing a sweet shirt that I gave her Christmas 95, It is

Pat is getting quite old now but the females live to be close to 100 in her family so we fully expect her to make it!!

5 month old Jake and Amanda

Here is Jake at 5 months. This was taken last September. When I feed him last night I was looking at him and now at 10 months old he is no bigger. I have watched his sister get a lot bigger in the last 5 months, leaving Jake behind. He is a midget!!! Learn something new everyday!!!

This is Amanda. She came to live with us when she was 4 and a half years old. She loved to lay in the sun!! She was a Whippet. She spent 6 years with us before she passed. We loved her very

much!!!!!

Bambi Late Afternoon and a Camellia

Yesterday was a nice day. We had a high temperature of 63, the sun was out most of the day. It was a very nice winter day. Bambi and I walked 4 times yesterday. When we have good weather we like to get as many walks in as possible. The next might not be as good of a walking day.

The picture above is yesterday late afternoon. The sun had started setting. Shadows were deep.

Bambi felt or smelled something underground. She stopped to smell or feel. There was a mole, I saw the ground move. I talked her out of killing it and we moved on. In her younger day, there would have been no way I could have talked her out of killing that poor mole!!!!!!!!!!

But she is an old girl now and she moves slower and rarely kills anything!!!

We have many many Camellias bushes in our yard. This time of year is there time to shine!!!

The bushes are full of blooms!! I just love them!!! I thank God for them everyday and many more things too!!!

Sweet Friends award and my inside fur family

Madi and Mom and Dog Daze have given my this award. Boy my friends have been showering me with awards a lot lately!! Here gos. In the future, I don't follower direction well. When I have a recipe I can NOT follow it to the letter. I have to change it. The same with a quilt pattern.
I am an original, it has to be my way. That is a flaw in my character!!! So I probably will not do this perfectly right. I never do things perfectly right, not ever!!!

A Sweet Girl and an award

Family Day

Hi friends!! I hope your Sunday is going well. Ours is!!

The picture is of my Mother and her dentist. Mother was at her dentist's retirement party. He had been her dentist for 24 years. She loved her dentist. And to his credit he took very good care of the teeth. She took them to her grave. In that picture she was 80 years old. I think she looked pretty good for her age. Of course she did color her hair.
