Love week-ends!!

For maybe 3 weeks now there has been days I have seen one of Frankie's baby's.   That baby will peak at me from under the bus and it will make Frankie so mad!!!!  She will run down from the bus and fuss at her baby and that baby will go back under the bus in a second!!!   I don't get a long enough or a good look at the baby at all.  Frankie doesn't want to share her babies with me!!  She brings them at night when I don't ever come out there then!!!
Frankie is really looking good now.  She has gotten really use to me and she knows her name and where her food is coming from!!  She has showed me she likes to have me out there with her while she eats and she likes me to talk to her.  If I stop talking to her she comes over to where I am standing and asks me to talk to her.  If I don't start talking she will just stand there close to me.  If I start talking again she will go back to her dish and eat.  If I go away over to the garden she leaves all her food and is gone!!!  She really is coming for my company not the food as much.
The other coons I have had over the years have always brought their babies to meet me when they were very young. I miss that!!!  I have to remember that she was not one of my coons.  She was not brought to me as a baby to meet their Aunt Fern.  It occured to me today that I may not ever get to meet her babies???  I hope this is not going to be the case.  But it could be!!!!
That is Max up there in the first picture!!  He will be 11 months old in 8 days!!  He is almost full grown and he is going to be a big big boy!!
This is the week-end and I so love the week-ends b/c Tom is home!!!  I love to have him around!!!  Happy week-end to you all!!!!!

Love coming your way, Circle,  Allie,  Max,  & Fern

  1. You'll have to have the camera ready so if the babies come out you can snap a picture. I give good advice, but I rarely take my own. I never have a camera when I need it. I love the weekends too, Fern. I love the extra time at home.

  9. It is so nice that Frankie enjoys having a conversation with you. Maybe she will bring out the babies before too long. Max really is getting to be a big boy. He looks as big as Adam who is about the same age. They have both grown up so fast.

  10. That's great that Frankie loves having you keep her company! Because the babies are curious about you, I bet that they will be some of "your" raccoons when they grow up (if not before). We've got three generations of raccoons here, and had some at our old house before that as well.

Thanks for stopping by our blog again. We have a big house, so we can have a multiple-cat family without much conflict. If you look for our interview button on the right sidebar of our blog, you can find out the basics about our family. Have a great week!
