We have a Fox that has moved in our yard

I don't have pictures of him or her but the fox as come from next door!!!  Rabbits and squirrels and a cat or two, tons of birds also have come from the dsstruction next door!!!
Last winter I lost 2 coons.  Mary and her daughter Jackie.   Mary was heading for her 7th birthday and Jackie her 6th.  The fox probably got them!!!  Then Johnny show up.  Johnny had been gone for 3 years.  I had last seen Johnny when his Mother and sisters were running
him off......  Johnny was approaching his 1st birthday.  It brakes the males heart to have his family, who he loves, to be run off by that family!!!!!!!  It take days and days to do it but they will finally run off the males of the family.  Johnny was so happy to see me he danced with joy when I brought some food out to him. This happened about a month before they started tearing up next door.  Johnny got a girl friend and he was happy.  Then his girlfriend died. In less then a week he had another and then another and then another.  Johnny had 3 girlfriends!!!  THEN THEY STARTED THAT AWFUL DESTRUCTION-- the girls were gone!!!  Johnny stayed.  He moved in the yard!!!  Found a nice big Oak to live in he liked ~~~~~~~  then the fox showed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It only took 2 days to run off or kill Johnny.  The 2 stray cats are gone too.  We now have a Gray fox.  I am not going to feed him!!!!   A lot of things will change around here with this new destruction going on!!!

Happy week-end Dear friends.......
Love coming your way,  Circle, Allie, Max & Fern

  2. It's always so hard on the wild animals when those large construction projects take place and tear up their homes. Sometimes I wish we would just use what we already have.

  6. Best not feed the fox! I reckon you will have a lot of movement of wildlife while or the building is happening. So sad about Johnny :( xx

  7. Hi Fern,

I think it's terrible they are tearing up the woods like that to build so many houses. It's all greed with no regard to the animals or the environment. Poor raccoons and all the other critters. I hate it.

  8. What a lot is going on in your neck of the woods. Not a happy time for the animals. Where will they live now? Sigh. I love that you have names for all of them!

  12. What a turmoil you are living in right now, Fern. And it's made especially hard with the disruption of all the wild life.
