Our Woods are going away!!!

We are going to have 40 or more neighbors when they get the houses built probably in a year or 2!!!
The pictures were taken this afternoon.  The first 2 were taken just right at the back gate were the coons come from.  Poor babies are really going to be upset!!! The back gate faces East.  The second two pictures are facing North.  The one has the a banded house that Zoie found all her critters it, is a day away from being torn down.  They plan on building as many houses as the county will permit on as small of a lot that will be permitted!!!!  The houses will be only 8 ft away from their neighbors house!!!  Needless to say we are not at all happy about this!!! There is nothing we can do about it so we have to just live with it!!  Hopefully some builder will come a long and want our land to build houses on and want to pay a nice price for it but we are not holding our breath!!!

The other news today is that Tom came home and said he had been talking to this computer repair man who is a customer of Tom's about how to get the Tower that Sonja's sent with this great monitor that I have been using with my old 98 tower.  Tom as been working on the new tower that Sonja sent trying to get it to talk to the monitor and he was telling this repair guy about what it was doing and the friend said give me the monitor and I'll give you one that will talk to your monitor!!!  So TOM said YES!!!   Tom just brought it home tonight so I will not have it hooked up for probably days but this tower is suppose to be only a few moths old and it was been all fixed up by the repair friend of Toms so in a way it will be new!!!  And faster!!!!!  I can't wait!!!
Well dear friends that is my news!!!

Love coming your way,  Circle,  Allie,  Max,  & Fern

  5. It happens here in the UK too - lovely green land or woodland and they want to build houses on it. So sad - especially for the raccoons :-( Hope the neighbours are nice though - woofs and licks from Magic xx

  6. Oh no, that's very sad about the poor wildlife there. Happens here all the time. We hope it works out.

  10. Holy cow, that's a LOT of news. Sometimes 'progress' is not good, especially when you lose the trees and wildlife. Hopefully you'll have some new neighbors that will be good for you and Tom. And, yes, you scored on your new tower!! I know you'll be thrilled when it's all set up.

  11. Before I forget... GIVEAWAY... come put your name in.

I can't stand how much land is being wiped out by business. Soon, we will not have enough to oxygenate the planet. I wonder if others read the articles on the high pollution in china. Devastating to kill off so much of nature. hard to accept. I feel for you. Hugs. Tammy

  13. It's sad to see developers pack houses so close together and destroy the beautiful woods. Maybe they should be forced to live there a couple of years.
