No camera

The last post I did was titled No pictures -  no camera.  I didn't say anything about that title did I??  Tom took the camera to work to take some pictures of what he did on a truck and the camera has not jumped out at Tom at the right time to remind him to take it home so mama can use her camera!!!  So I only have old pictures that you have seen before to put on.  Sorry.  The one above is my # one favorite of all tho!!!
Hope you all have a good week!!! Our garden is still producing more everything except tomatoes then we can use so it is a lot of work keeping up.  We are in the last stages of this years garden now!!!!  Not going to have a garden next year.  This years has been a great garden but it has been so hard to take care of it b/c of the Mosquitoes!!!!!! It is a wonder I am not sick from the millions of bits I have gotten!!!
Love coming your way, Zoie & Fern

    1. I am just getting too old and this year has been so hard to work in the garden b/c of the mosquitoes!!! There were just so so so many and they are eating you even if you have clothes covering your whole body and Deep Woods Off on they are still biting you through your cloths. It has been really hard!!!
      Thanks for your visit!!

    1. I wish that would work but he works with his hands -- hard work too. I just have to get on the ball and call him just before he is ready to leave and ask nicely to bring my camera home! I have asked but it was early in the day and by the time he was getting ready to come home he had forgot!!

  7. We have lots of mosquitoes here and we hate them. They seldom come to me (*touch wood*) but they love my husband and Rosie.

Glad to hear from you, Miss Fern!

  8. Mozzies are so pesky. And unfortunately, I am a mozzie magnet as they always only go for me even when I'm with a group of people. Yuck.

  10. You know Sue I will be 77 years old next year and it is getting too much for me and Tom really needs to be doing other things then tending the garden!! This yard is way out of hand!!!

  11. Love that photo with the raised leg. I had to laugh at your "end of this year's garden" because mine is FINALLY starting to produce something edible -- beans, squash, carrots and beets mainly, with tomatoes still greener than green. lol.

  12. Oh Julia, I wish we could grow carrots and beets but we have tried and tried and our soil isn't soft enough!!! In Fla things get started so much earlier and it ends earlier!! I am getting too old to work so hard so next year we will only have herbs!!!

  13. Gardens are hard work, but when you add mosquitoes to the mix, it does become a challenge. They love me too :( , but fortunately we don't have too many here.

    1. Yes gardens are a lot more work then I am really able to do and this years it has been extra hard b/c you are fighting the mosquitoes too. We have thousands of them, they can carry you off!!

  14. Hi Fern -
Have you tried an "Off Clip-on" to wear when you garden? I, too, was getting eaten alive and now I wear my clip-on and have not gotten bit since then. It is really a life saver!!

  15. Hi Miss Fern! I luvs looking at pictures of pretty Zoie - it doesn't matter whether they're old or new.

My momma says she wishes she had your green thumb. I don't know what she's talking about cuz from the pictures I've seen of you, your thumb looks like a normal human pink color to me. But that's what she says!

    Mayzie
