The garden -- things are growing

It is no wonder the grass has not been cut!!!!!  Things are growing like weeds around here  and the foodables have to be cared for,, they are so much more important!!  The tomatoes are coming to our table!!!  So happy about that!!!  The first ones tastes SOOO GOOD!!!!!   Oh happy day!!!
We love those HOT peppers too!!!!
We are still getting strawberries EVERYDAY TOO 25 to 35 a day!!!

Love coming your way, Pretty Girl & Fern

  1. The tomatoes look oh so good. To answer your last question to me: YES I love tomatoes. I pick my own. Yep that's right. I go out to the garden with MOM and as she is picking stuff I pick my own. Sometimes MOM helps me and will pick a few and toss them to me. My favorites are cherry and grape tomatoes and peas. yummm yumm.

  2. Hi Fern, it was sunny but cool last week but the rain and clouds have returned. It rained heavily yesterday, intermittent rain today and until this Thursday. We envy your garden, your tasty tomatoes and flavorful strawberries. We have to content with tart grape tomatoes from Mexico or California and tasteless strawberries from California. It's a wet Spring up here.

  6. Those tomatoes and chillies look lovely! My mums don't have the greenest of fingers and hardly managed to get anything from their plants last year!

  9. Oh Fern, You veges look so tasty. I just bought basil today(to die for) but didn't see any cilantro. Usually I'll have one tomato plant but not sure what I'll do this year-I think little Hunter would be hunting for sure.
Have a great day and enjoy your harvest.
    Hugs, Noreen & Hunter

  10. It must be so nice to harvest from your own garden! I've been posting lately about my failed attempts at growing potted colour and have to add herbs to that list too. I have one tiny struggling chilli bush which somehow has managed to survive for YEARS but every other foodable is pretty much dead. I love chillies! Oh for some green fingers!

  16. OMG, where do you live that you can have tomatoes ready on May 21??? I am soooooo jealous!! I don't think I had tomatoes that early even when I lived in California. And here, we can't even put them in the ground until late May/early June. I want to move wherever you are, LOL.
