Happy is OLd

Our Happy cat is not looking very good any more poor baby!!!  These two pictures were taken 2 years ago.
The last picture tho, you can see her arthritis in her right leg.  The poor girl is hurting a lot of the time now a days!!! She sleeps a lot!!!  She is so old but still a diva!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The older she gets the more bossy she becomes!!  She sleeps on our bed most of the time.  Usually right between us and she doesn't like it when we boot her on the other side of one of us!!!  Her place is in the middle of the bed she says!!!!

I am so sorry I haven't taken any pictures of the animals lately.  It has been cloudy and gloomy and I am hurting so I don't feel much like taking pictures!!!  I was crazy last week and tried to mop my kitchen floor 2 times!!! ( The floor was so dirty)!!!  Now each day I hurt more and can walk less!!!  Tom says I have to stop walking for a couple of days!!!  Yes, like that is going to happened!!!!
Love coming your way, Happy & Zoie & Fern

  2. Happy Cat is so pretty. She looks like a cat we had long ago named Frisky. He was a great hunter. Our other kitty was afraid to go outside so Frisky would bring in toys for her to play with - mice, lizards, a baby bunny once. They never killed them, just played with them until I could rescue them and take them back outside!

  10. Happy is a beauty even at her age. I am sorry she is in pain though. Fern take it easy so you will quit hurting. Put your feet up a bit more...I know with critters and husbands we can't do that all the time. Just slow down a wee bit! Sending good vibes your way!~Karen

  17. Hi Fern, you'd better rest. It's no good if you push yourself and then are unable to look after Zoie and Happy.

  18. Fern, I love how you "speak" from the heart in every post and that is why you have so many faithful readers! I can tell from this post that you are proud of Happy for being so feisty and bossy but I can also tell you are sad that she has aged. My 12 year old tabby, Henry, was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and it scared me to know that he will be on medication for the rest of his life. For both of us, I hope Happy and Henry live a longer life than we ever expected!
