Words Wednesday!!! Pictures too!!!!

Christmas Cactus on Christmas !!!!!!!!  Our lettuce the night before our 18 degrees morning!!   We got all the lettuce harvested before the big freeze!!!
We lost all the peppers in the front garden and we lost a lot in the side garden!!!  We have chard and strawberries and kale and oregano left  ONLY !!!
We are thinking about next years garden!!!
Love coming your way,  Zoie & Fern

  1. OH MY GOODNESS! 18 degrees where you live???? That's strange and cold. It has been very cold up north in MASS too!
I hope all is well...I have been working two jobs and have been staying busy!
Have a great day my friend!

  2. Yes we had 18 degrees and it set a record for that day!! But almost every winter we have some really cold days but it doesn't usually last long. Today when walking this morning it was raining and probably 66 degrees. That is more like usual....
I feel sorry for your animals all alone so much with you working 2 jobs!!
Tonight is date night for us so I think it will be a good night!!!
You have the best night you can have dear friend!!!
    xxooxx, Zoie & Fern

  3. Yikes. That's so cold. Why do they call it Christmas Cactus? Do they flower around christmas time?

  4. Hi Zoie and Fern! Your Christmas cactus is just beautiful!!!!!!!!

I am sorry about your other veggies though!

  5. Your Christmas cactus is gorgeous, Fern. Our gram has good luck with those plants but our mom kills every houseplant she owns!
