Happy week-end Friends

I hope you all have a wonderful week-end!! We are going to try!!
This is Zoie in her chair b/c we don't have a couch!! Just 3 chairs!  Rocking chairs......  Zoie had a tuff time getting in a rocking chair at first!!! She was a smart girl so she learned fast!!! She loved her chair!!!! Tom put a hassock in front of her chair so she could lay down in her chair!!

She would not go in her crate!! She hated her crate b/c she use to have to be in it all day and all night.  She was only out of her crate for 2 or 3 hours a day!! So Zoie was so happy to be siting in her chair with her new Mom!!!  She was so happy to be with me 24/7 all the time.  After a few months she showed she wanted to be with me at night too and at first would sleep some part of the night on the floor beside our bed. So we got some foam and I made her her own bed to put on the floor next to me and I could put my hand down and touch her!!!!  She loved that!!!!!!  She only got to sleep in her new bed for 9 days!  But she was so happy with her new bed and being able to be right beside me all night long!!!

Run Free Zoie!!!!

One week ago today my Zoie jumped over the fence and went to the road and died !!!  She is free now !!  She is light as a feather!!!
I hope she is playing with all the others who are there !!!! I will miss you so until the day I die and that will not be a long time Zoie!!!
Looking so to being together again!!!!  I miss her so!!!

Thank you all friends and animal lovers!!!!!!!  I have broken in half!!!  I am broken!!!  She gave me more love in just our10  months and 2 weeks together then any other dog has done with one exception ----- Bruce.  Zoie loved her life with me and I loved her just as much right back.  I am trying to think of our good times!!!
Kim from Golden Ponds said some dogs were not meant to be here a long time and she was just one of those!! She was so happy!! She wanted to kiss me all the time.  She would hug me with her neck  and head many times a day!!!  She was so loving!!!!!!!!!!  She was a wonderful companion!!!

I wish I didn't have to write this post

How do I start???  What do I say???  Zoie !!!!  ZOIE!!!!!!  Zoie!!!  I love you!!!!! How am I going to live without you!!!!!!! Maybe I'll stop blogging???  I can't
 see well enough to spend even one hour on the computer and yet I have been and it has been real hard on my eye~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  I am losing so many friends b/c I can't see.  I can't hear either.
And now I don't have a dog anymore!!!!  I am not getting another!!!  I am not!!!!  I have had 8 dogs that have lived in this 6 foot fence and the only 2 that ever left the fence was Tinker and Zoie.
Tinker dug out and Zoie jumped the fence.  Zoie had not jumped the fence in a long while.
Wednesday AM after a Tuesday that rained off and on all day long, Zoie woke me up and said she needed to go out.  I let her out and told her to stay home and went to the bathroom and came back to let Zoie back in and no Zoie.  I called her and I called her.  No Zoie!!  I waited about 15 minutes and I called again. No Zoie. I should have gotten dressed and gone out to look for her but I didn't !!!
Zoie had left the fence before and she had gone next door to the empty house,  That house has been empty for years!!  There is a lot of critters living over there. I was hoping that was where she went.
I went back to bed. I was bad!!!!!!!!!!! I should have gotten dressed and gone out to look for her.
When Tom got up to get ready for work still no Zoie!!!  He said he would go next door and find her.  He did and she wasn't there!!! He left for work!  He came back in just a minute and said he would be bringing Zoie home for the last time.  He found her in the 6 lane road out front about a block and a half away. Split wide open. We think a semi hit her.  Why did she go to the road-------- we will never know???  I am devastated!!!  I am heart sick!!!  I can't do anything but cry. I am so SAD sad sad !!!!!
How do I live with myself????? I am so sad!!!      

I won One hundred Dollars

Yes, I entered a contest that a grocery store here in town put on. Can you believe it??  I never win any thing.  In the sale flyer it told about the contest and I thought I would have a change to win.
They wanted you to tell them about one of your first meals as a new bride .  Well this was not my first meal by a way but it was my first meal in an new apartment in Miami.
My Mother was not a cook so I had no training!!!!!! I wanted to cook a meatloaf for dinner and I didn't know how.  I didn't have any books to look in so I went to the phone and called a number that was in the phone book.  A woman answered and I said Hey, you don't know me but I am a new bride and want to make a meatloaf tonight for dinner, would you please tell me how you make one???
She laughed and said she would.  She and I talked probably 30 minutes and she told me just how she made hers and I made one that night and it was very good.  I have made them that same way ever since!! 
This grocery store is one of two we have in town that is about 80% organic. We do have another that is 100% organic but it wasn't having the contest.  We are so happy about this b/c it is not looking good for grocery money this week!!  So if the card comes through in time we will have 100.00$ to spend there!!!   YAY  YAY!!!

More good news my dear friends!!  I am out of pain!!!!!  YAY!!

Mosquitoes make it so hard

Mosquitoes make it so hard to take pictures outside. The camera is home now but I still have not gotten any new pictures of Zoie!!!
They attack you so while you are trying to get a good picture.
So here is one of her laying in her chair with me rubbing her belly.
Zoie spends much of her time in her chair that use to be Bambi's chair and before that Amanda's chair. The chair was bought in 67.
It was a good investment for sure!!
