Poor Happy

This is Happy !!! She is truly the boss of this house!!  She is 19 to 21 years old and she only weights 8 lbs and 7 oz.   She is small but so big in so many ways!!!!  She tells Zoie that Zoie can't do this and Zoie doesn't do it!!! She has really trained Zoie well!!  Zoie really likes Happy and  I think Happy is coming around to kind of liking Zoie too!!!!  It is a happy House!!!

Another week-end is here

All my beautiful Camellias that were blooming away so beautifully got frozen!!!  I had probably 100 or more!!! I had Azaleas blooming and  Japanese Magnolia's blooming and daffodils too   All gone!!  I surely hope we will have some for spring!!!

I haven't taken any new pictures of Zoie so here is one some of you have already seen!!!!   She is a beauty!!!! This picture was taken when she was 48 lbs.  She is now 67 lbs.  She has gained a lot of weight fast!!!  Almost 20 lbs in 3 months and 10 days!!! She was so hungry!!!!   It is going to be very hard for me to keep her weight down~~~ she loves to eat!!!!

Another week-end is here

I do hope you all have a great week-end!!!  I love week-ends b/c Tom is home and we get to do things together!!!  Speaking of together,  Happy and Zoie are really really doing so well together!!!  Happy is an amazing cat!!  She is a very good trainer too, b/c it is really her that trains the dogs!!!
We are planning to plant some seeds  this  week-end.  All our hot peppers and bell peppers were lost when we had that 18 degree night in January.  So it is time to start new ones!!

Zoie ~~~~ 3 months today!!!

Yes, Zoie has lived with us 3 months today!!! She had her stitches out last night!!!  She is a wonderful wonderful companion for me!!!  She is not wanting to run away.  She loves this yard and to chase all the critters!!!  She  has a fun life now instead of just bored out of her mind!!!  She is HAPPY!!!!

Mondays Memories

All of my babies have gone to the bridge and that makes me sad, but I am so glad they shared my life with me for as long as we had together.   I guess that is the important thing!!!  I have wanted to talk about Maggie from Maggie & Mitch going to the bridge but when I try to do a post about her passing the tears flow so hard I can't see the screen!!!  So I thought I would mention it this way and not just try to do a post  on just Maggie going to the bridge to play with all the others.  She would just be in the company of all the past fur babies that mean so much to me!!!  It is easier to say and think about her as one of the many of pets waiting at the bridge for us to join them.  Sue , Maggie's Mom is having a ruff time of it tho and boy!!  I understand that so well!!!!!!   Bruce my GS (top photo), Joker, Amanda and Bambi and Maggie , play and have a ball while you wait for us to join you!!!!  We will be coming to be with you soon!!!
It is sad that I don't have even one picture of Bambi and I together but I don't!!!
