Mondays Memories-- Little Darlin

Monday Memories!! Meet Little Darlin !!! He was a stray that just showed up one day when I was still living at home with my Mother. He was a kitten about 3 month old. Of course I didn't turn him away. He loved corn on the cob!!! He ate only the corn of the corn, not the cob. He would eat a whole ear himself!!! It was one of his favorite things he loved to eat. He had a Sweet tooth!!!

We had a beautiful day today. The sun was out all day long!!! I worked some in the garden today. Hope you had a good day!!

Blogger Sick Again

I have spent the morning trying to load pictures. Do you see any??? NO !!! Blogger will not load any for me this AM. I even tried different pictures from different files and it would not load any!!!!!
So............... Hi dear friends!! It rained last evening !! We had over an inch. The air feels much better today. Much cleaner!!!! We are back to spring like weather-- thank God !!!! It had been so hot for so early in the year!! I am afraid of what the summer is going to hold for us!!!!!! The weather has been so erratic all over the world for the last year. And now we are having earthquakes around the world even in this country.......... It is scary !!!!!!!!

So life goes on for some of us!!!!!! We have lost a lot of good people in this last 6 months tho..........

Happycat - a quilt- and the first rose of the season

Good morning dear friends!!! We are going to have another beautiful hot day!! It is suppose to rain tomorrow and then we are suppose to get back to the spring we are really in. But for the last 5 days we have been in summer.

I thought you might enjoy a quilt today!! A Florida quilt!!! lol

We have our first rose of the season. I love roses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mondays Memories- Joker and Don's wedding day

Hi blog friends. We have another lovely day. It is suppose to get to 84 degrees!! We have kinda skipped over spring and gone right to summer. We have a wonderful Easter. Tom and I have been doing a lot of work in the yard the last 3 days. When it gets finished I will show it to you.

Monday Memories is of Joker, my rescued Ibsen Hound. Joe was 5 and a half years old when I got him and was not use to to living in a home with a family. He had lived in a kennel all his life. He lived with us for over 7 wonderful years. He died of kidney failure.

The picture below is of my second born son on his wedding day. It turned out Don was not cut out for marriage. His marriage only lasted one year. That was a lot of years ago now and he has not tried it again. He has a girlfriend tho that he has been with for about 3 three years. Maybe one day they will marry.

Bambi, Camellias and Happy

Today is a beautiful day!!!! We are suppose to get up to 80 degrees today. We here in the woods with lots of trees around will probably only get up to 77 which is not bad!!!!

The first photo is my sweet sweet girl Bambi!!! She is such a wonderful friend to me. We have been together so long she never does anything wrong!! She knows everything I say and am going to do!!! WE are best buds!!!

I took this picture the other day b/c the camellias give us a big show right at the end of their blooming season. Next week they will be gone, all those blooms. Gone until next December.

Happy cat on her food table her Dad built just for her. She ate up there many years. Now she can not use her food table!! Poor thing!! Being of very advanced years she can't jump up or get down from the food table any more!! She has her bowl on the floor and Bambi will not touch it.

I may not blog again until after Easter. So dear friends, Have a wonderful week-end and a great Easter!!!
