Growing like weeds!!!

The babies are growing like weeds or even faster!!! One week ago the they were so cute now they are getting out of there box at will!! They use to drink 3 ounces of formula,  now it is a whole bottle per feeding!!!!  They are pooping enough for a whole baby whip!!!  GROWING is putting it mildly......

The kittens have changed so much in 6 days!!

Yes, Circle is playing with the kittens every time they are out now!!  She is having a ball with them as you can see!!!  The kittens are coming out of the box now when they are ready to eat or go potty--- they crawl out no problem!!!
The kittens are a girl and a boy.  I will not name them b/c I do Not plan on keeping them at this time.
When they were at the vets a woman saw them and fell in love with them and said she wanted them when they were old enough to eat and use the litter box on their own.......   She left her name and phone # to call when they were ready~~~~~~~~~~~  Hope she doesn't change her mind!!

The kittens are so much work and expense. They are on formula and baby food.  They are eating very little baby food, about a teaspoon a day now.  Does any one out there know of something to wipe their little butts off with when the pee and poop b/c at first I was using cotton balls and that was enough but as they are growing so fast the cotton ball in not enough any more???
I will be so glad when they can use the littler box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  About how old are they when they start???  Any one know?????

Circle wants to play!!

Sorry no pictures of this but Circle wants to play with the babies!!!!  She so far has been very gentle with them but the babies  have just started to TRY to play with each other for the first time today..
They are cute trying b/c they miss their target most of the time!!

Kittens home and happy!!

They are all cleaned out and on a different formula.  Things I hope will be better now!!!
It was kind of nice to nap this afternoon.  B/c I an up with them at least once dunning the night and last night 2 times.

Kittens at the vets!!

The kittens are at the vets right now.  I am suppose to call the vets about 2 Pm to see how things are going....  I called a cat lady that lives about a mile from me to come and get them to the vets for me.

She called and said they were there and it would be soon they would be seen by the vets.

I have been stimulating the heck out of them!!  My friend said that they were probably full of worms and that the formula that they brought with the kittens is the cheapest one and that it didn't have the right things in it to help with constipation, in fact it would probably help them have constipation.
I'll keep you all up to date when I have more news!!

Here are the kittens

Has anyone out there had kittens so young??  We have a constipation problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a girl and a boy ( I think) and the girl is the one in trouble big time.  She has been constipated as long as she has been with me.  We are on day 3 today. I think the boy is starting to get in trouble too!!!   Help!!!  I am going to call the vets in a few minutes at 8 am. The kittens are a big job!!!
They are so young.  Tom doesn't ever think they are 2 weeks old yet!!!
Well no one at the vets is answering yet!!

2 more kittens-- only 2 weeks old

No pictures yet, but I wanted to tell you anyway!!!  Yesterday the lady responsible for me getting Zoie called and said that a family member had a mama cat die and there was 3 kittens left with no Mama.
Would I take them and care for them until they were old enough to find homes for??  What could I say???  I said yes. Last evening her son and daughter-in-law brought 2 kittens to me to care for. Well they are not 3 weeks old, they are 2 weeks old!!!  They said they had found some one else to care for one. So now in just 3 days I have gone from no animals to 3 kittens.  Circle is not real happy about the other kittens worming their way in HER LIFE!!!  She says she wants all the attention!!!!

Actually her looks really didn't have anything to do with us picking her. Her age did and that fact that she was a loud purr-er and she loved to be handled was why she was picked............
I wish Zoie was still here b/c I think she would have really loved her.  Circle was suppose to be use to a big dog too so I know they would have been good friends.
Circle stays right with me were ever I go in the house!!!  She is an inside cat for now, maybe when she get more grow up she can go out with Tom when he is working on something out side and she can stay close by him.

Meet new baby -- Cricle

Dear friends,  meet Circle!!!!  She is about 5 months old and she came from the Leon County Humane Society......   We wanted to get one from a rescue place here in town but the two we have didn't have any kittens that met Toms qualification!!  But this little girl did !!!  She purrs loudly and she loves to be loved and handled and sit on your lap, she is sitting on my lap as I type this.
She is as needful as we are.....LOL
We named her Circle b/c she has the two circles in her markings on each side of her body, can you see the circles???  I am pretty sure she is the only animal that is named Circle!!!  lol

Wanting another kitty

That is Tom and Tiger years and years ago!!! Tom probably weights 70 lbs less now a days then he did then!!  Really he looks so thin today!! Tiger was Tom's cat. They had been together all of Tiger's life. 
Tiger was a wonderful cat!! He had a very loud purr and he loved to sit in your lap.  He was just a very loving kitty!!!  That is what we want now.  Happy was a great cat.  She loved to be close but not in your lap and if she was purring you had to feel her b/c you couldn't hears her purr!!!! We missed that so much!!  When  Tiger was happy everybody knew it!!  I am hoping that we will find a kitty soon.  I need a fur baby!!!! I need someone to show me they care!!!  Zoie was so loving she was showing it all the time!!!

Really don't like Wednesdays any more

This is Elaine and her Greyhound Kristy.   She and Kristy came for 3 play dates when Zoie was alive.
Zoie loved those play dates.  At first Kristy was shy with Zoie.  Zoie was so friendly so fast and Kristy says I just met you---lets get to know each other a little before ruff play OK???
Zoie loved other dogs and she wanted to be around them!!  If we could have been able to afford Zoie I would have wanted another dog for Zoie b/c she so longed for a friend.
Elaine came yesterday for a visit and she brought FOOD with her and a gift certificate for fresh shopping for fresh vegetables!!!  She is a very very nice lady!!!!

It is not cool yet --here

These are already blooming and this is way early for them to bloom.
4 weeks ago Zoie had only 2 full days to live!!!!
It had been raining that last 2 days a lot and she had not been able to get out and run and play the way she needed to do!!!!  Zoie hated water!!! She had said the only thing that water was good for was to drink.  In the summer tho she didn't drink much, she wanted ice!!  She loved her ice and every tine I would go to the refrigerator she would ask for ice.  And every time she got her ice and she would take such delight that I knew what she wanted and I would give it to her!!  Friends, she was so happy  and she was so happy with me and she showed it all the time, everyday and and every night!!!

Happy Week-end Dear Friends

I hope you have a lovely week-end .  We will have a better one when we have had for weeks.  Two jobs went home today and was paid for!!!  TWO!!!!  WOW!!!!
I miss this beautiful girl so very much but I must say I am living with way less pain now that she has gone. I am walking everyday but not a bunch of times the way it was when she was here.  Only 2 or 3 times and not near as long of a walk as when I was walking her. So I don't miss the pain !!!!!
My body really needed the rest!!!
I don't know about Tom but I am thinking about a kitten!!!

My Babies that have left me

All these babies have left me and not one of them wanted to leave me!!! When Zoie jumped the fence she was not leaving me in her mind, she was just on an adventure.  Bless her heart!!!  I had told her not  to jump the fence b/c something bad would happen to her.   She didn't understand and she says now I know what you meant Mom!!!  She says she and all the others are waiting for me to come to the bridge and it is hard to want to stay here some times.  But I have a good husband who loves me so I will stay for him and maybe one day another kitty!!!!!

3 Weeks today

I feel so badly that this beautiful girl has gone!!! I cry everyday!!! Some days more then once.

Septic tank troubles

We had a good time buying a weeks worth of groceries and really not spending a dime of money Tom had not earned during the week!!!   Bless his heart!!! 100.00$ really doesn't go far with everything costing so much!!!!  We got enough for the week tho!!!
Times are really so hard for us right now. Tom had had 3 weeks with no money coming in. He should finish a job this week and get paid for it. So the way things go is 3 weeks with no income and one week with some income-- we go further behind-- it drives me mad!!!!!
When shopping we bought no meat-- a dozen eggs only. 

Septic Tank!!!!!  OH Lord help us!!!  Right after Zoie left us Tom was in the yard and found some water in a puddle by where the septic is and said to me we have some big trouble!!! The water was clean looking and smelling so I was hopeful.  Tom started to dig by hand in red clay to see what had happened. The septic tank's pipe that comes out to the second tank had rotted away.  So for years our tank was not going in the second tank and then into the drain field.     
WE can not afford someone to come and fix this so Tom is digging by hand--digging up the tanks and the drain field.  It is going to take months!!!!!  Bless his heart!!!!  Friends we still need your prayers!!!

Roses for your week-end

Morning Friends.  I do still have a few rose bushes but nothing like I use to have. I use to work in the yard for hours a day tending my gardens. I was a lot younger in those days.  I am going to be 77 years old in December and that will be here in a minute!!!  A garden like the one above takes way more energy then I have  now!!!!! In the picture above is a cat can you find him in the picture??
It is the week-end stating today.  Well this evening really.  I finally got the  100.00$ that I won and we are going to get some of our groceries with it this week-end!!!!  YAY

The last 2 weeks!!

Thank you all for your very kind comments!!! You will never know how I needed them.
I am so sad!!  So hurt!! 2 weeks ago tonight Zoie was alive and we had just come in from our last walk of the night b/c it started to rain on us and Zoie hated water!!! When it rained she would beat me to the door to get in out of the rain!!! She only had a few hours to live.  God needed her more then I -- I guess!  I can't wait to be with all my animals in heaven.
Happy had to go too!!  She was having those awful seizures and they were so hard on her,,she was suffering so. So this last 2 weeks have been so very hard on me and Tom!!!!
I surely hope you have had a better 2 weeks then we have had!!
I hope the next 2 weeks are good for you and yours and good for Tom and I!!!  
I don't know what I will blog about in the future but everybody wants me to keep blogging so I will try just for you!!!

Another sad post

Happy cat came to us--just walked up to the front porch one day over 15 years ago and said Hi--  I have come to live you guys!!
We had no dog at that time we were just like we are now animal---less!!!!  We of course welcomed her in and from that day on Happy was so happy we called her Happy!!!!!  
Happy had had many litters of kittens and she was no spring chicken.  
We took her to the vets and he said she was 5 to 7 or maybe even 8 years old.  He pointed out her spay scare and said it had been done with in a 6months to year but more like about 6 months ago!!!  She was in very good health!!
Happy stayed in very good health for 14 years with us. We lost our Bambi June 3 2011 and she started going down hill from that time on, very slowly but still~~~~~~~.
She started eating more and  not showing that she was eating more!!!
 She keep losing weight.  Tom had her to the vets many times!!
They kept telling Tom she is so old!! He had all the tests done on her. She was just old!!!  She had all her teeth and they were in really great shape.  Everything was testing good.  8 days ago she started to have seizures. She had 4 in total.  They were very hard on her.
Tom took her to the vets Saturday morning and helped her to the bridge.  She went very peacefully............  It was a hard day for us.  It was a hard week-end!!!!  We knew when we lost Zoie that Happy was not far behind. We are without  now and the house is so empty!!
Tom will be coming home soon enough with a kitten --- one that purrs!!!!!!   Happy didn't purr loud enough to hear her.   To tell if she was purring you had to feel her!!!  We have so missed that loud purr!!! Happy until the very end would not sit in your lap so we want a lap kitty this next time!!  We miss her so but we knew this was coming.  Zoie was a shock!!!  I kind of hope we can be without for a while now.  BUT if one shows up then we will have another animal.
All I have now are the coons and the birds!!!  They will be my animals now for a while!!!
