Hi blog friends!! We are having another HOT one today!! What else is new. lol
Today I want to tell you how wonderful Bambi's diet is working out!! She gets only home cooked food or fruit for her treats. Nothing made for a dog!! Almost all of her lypoma's are gone!!! The diet has caused them to go away or are very much less in size. The ones on her feet in between her toes have not come back!!!! I am so pleased!! Cooking for her is so worth it!! I gives me so much pleasure to see her improve each day!!
I am cooking barely, sweet potatoes, or butternut squash, green beans, tomatoes or tomatoes sauce, herbs and ground beef or ground sirloin. She loves it so much and for almost 13 years old she is starting to look like a much younger dog!!! I am so pleased!!
Have any questions please ask.
Love coming your way, Bambi & Fern

  1. {{{BAMBI}}} & Bambi's Momo... good for you! I love bringing animals in and watching how they change and develope from being in abused or neglected situations. We are at capacity so there will be no more for us. But it's been a pleasure with the 4 who were rescue animals to see them come into their own. God Bless all those who reach out to the critters! 4. That is wonderful to see. Phantom really gives Mom a hard time about food. She has tried lots of different things. Twinkie Dog sent her a recipe using chicken livers and she made them this morning. Phantom ate them - hurrah!!!

  8. Hi Fern, Loved hearing how well Bambi is doing with her diet change-good for you! I have a question for you-do you have your dogs teeth cleaned by the vet? I know that many do but with the increasing cost of this, just wondered your thoughts on it.

  9. That is wonderful. I'm so glad for Bambi. I guess I should reconsider my stand on vegetables and fruits. I won't eat them no matter what my Mom do. It drives them crazy. Anyhoo, Bambi looks great and that's the important thing.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  10. Hi Fern!! I think we are both on the same page with diet and can both without a doubt say that it makes such a difference--I just wish I could sometimes remember it for myself when I'm at the drive-thru! :-)
I'm wondering what you do with the tomatoes and sauce--I've never given these to my dogs and am always looking for something else to add to their meal.
