Over the week end it was Animal Rescue Day. These three dogs span over 26 years of my life.
All rescue dogs. For those who think you can't rescue full blooded dogs, you can!! Beautiful dogs, wonderful dogs!! They need us!! So do the cats!!
I use to foster cats in my home when I first came to Tallahassee. I worked at adoption booths every Saturday AM. I know how much the animals need our help!!! I am old now and don't drive any more so my help for the animals is limited. BUT I still help as many animals as I can right here on my 3 acres!! I never turn an animal away hungry!!! Any cat that shows up stays with us for years. I do what I can do. Hope you do too.
Love coming your way, Happy, Bambi & Fern

That is just so wonderful of you to help so many other animals. Our Mom tries to do her part with some donations to some special rescue organization.

You is a remarkable lady Ms. Fern. We is not rescued but I was suppose to be a rescue...dats a loooong story though.

It's true. Franklin and I are both purebred and we are both rescue doggies. Our family has had plenty of both mixed and purebred dogs over the years. Just at the moment they're all about Peis. You do tons for animals, with all the feeding whoever stops by for a meal and stuff. And we sure do appreciate people like you.
ReplyDeletelotsa licks, Lola
We have rescued a a FB Boston Terrier and FB Malinois. In the past we had a FB Dutch Shepherd. So you bet, you can find them especially when you go to breed specific rescues. I believe taking a dog out of a shelter or rescue insures we control the overpopulation of animals. Every little bit helps. you do wonderful work!! Tazzy
ReplyDeleteGIVEAWAY AT MY PLACE!!
Each of us doing a little bit makes a world of difference!
