The garden has been started

Hi there friends, we have started our new garden!! We have tons of strawberry blooms and few have already been eaten! I had a picture on one of my passed posts.
The pic above is Swiss Chard.. Bambi loves it cooked in her buckwheat along with celery and fresh herbs. If you don't have this in your diet you really should.
Greens are the medicine that keeps away cancer. We should all be eating greens at least 4 times a week. Around here we eat greens everyday of the week, I am a cancer survivor. My Dad died of cancer and Toms Mom died of cancer.
This is just one of our red cabbages. Isn't she beautiful!!! We have spinach, kale,
bok choy, and water cress all coming up. We have tomatoes, egg plant, hot and sweet peppers coming up . Reddish, broccoli, squash planted but not up yet and other things I have missed telling you about, but if you follow me you will see them later.
Thank you all for helping us celebrate Bambi's and mine anniversary!! Our 13 th!!
Love coming your way!!
xx, Bambi & Fern

DARN... It will be WEEKS before we can start putting any plants in. That Cabbage is beautiful. We only grow green cabbage... butt guess what???? On the 17th.. we will be having some of that (which has been safely frozen and waiting) with our corned beef!!!
Your garden will feed you... and do it in such a HEALTHY way.. for a long time to come!!!

  6. We're having kale tonight, so it's greens day for us too. I'm a cancer survivor also. Love your garden! It's way to early for us to plant, but I SHOULD get some tomato starts going.....
