Thirteen years ago I brought a very sick (about 5 months old) puppy home from the local shelter. She had been adopted out 3 times before me. I was her 4th chance. She was real sick with kennel cough!!! The vet said she would have been died in a couple of days if I had not come along. Of course she went straight to the vets before she came home to her forever home!!She has been the most wonderful dog anyone could ever want!!
I love her so much but then I am like that you know!!

ReplyDeleteWe rescue our pups and they are the joys of our lives. They reward us more than they'll ever know. We've kind of "accidentally" ended up rescuing "Olden Goldens"....the youngest we've rescued was our Milo, who was 9 1/2 when he joined us. It will be three years come August!
