Bambi--How I love this old girl




Hi Friends in Blog-land.......
Bambi has been a bad girl lately. I told her that I was going to tell you all out there if she didn't quit stealing the cat food... Dear folks Bambi is putting on some pounds and her Mom is trying to put her on a diet. She needs to lose at least 3 lbs but 5 lbs. would be nice. So she is not getting as much food as she wants!!!!! So when she gets a chance she steals Happy's dry food!!
Her Lymphoma's are getting bigger.............................
I have to pick up the cat food now every night and when 3 or 4 in the morning Happy gets hungry she wakes me or her Dad up. Not fun!!
I have to really be careful to see that Bambi doesn't get any cat food b/c she is really allergic to it big time!!

    Oh no. Poor Happy. Bambi probably wonders why Happy is allowed to eat all she wants and she's not. We need to put Gracie on a diet too. She's getting to be a bit of a chunk. Dear Bambi> loose the weight, sweetie... then maybe Mom will give you more food. She's only looking out for your best interest. **hugs from gracie and me**

    Maybe now that Bambi can't steal Happy's food, she might loose a bit of weight.

    I haves to say, you don't look overweight in da fotos. My brudder ans sissy is on weight control food, they ain't over weight eithers but whatevers. And mum don't leave no food bowls out eithers...then again, there is no food left.

    I has heard of lots of doggies eatin' cat food. Heard it tastes ggod but doesn't haves da ingedients we need.

    You naughty girl!!! I understand about needing to lose weight, it's no fun!

    Oh, Bambi, you are SO pretty! You have kinda some brindle furs, too, huh? I'm sorry about the DIE-it. Booo! That's no fun. But I guess it's for your own good. The same with taking up the kitteh food. But I understand where you're coming from. Cuz kitteh food is DEE-lish!

    Bambi, you have to watch your figure! Maybe you should try saving part of your food that you'd normally eat back, and then have a little "snack" right before bedtime so you don't wake up in the wee hours of the morning feeling hungry.

    Oh, poor Bambi. Duncan & Hamish are on weight control food now since they're becoming little "chunks" - I figure they can lose a couple of pounds before their 2nd birthday checkup. It's hard but worth it since they'll be healthier at a lower weight - and so will you, Bambi. Hang in there :o)

    HELLO!!! Sorry I'm late getting here and will just say that our girl Rudi I think eats more cat food than the cat...I've never thought of it triggering allergies, thanks for that and also for the nudge to find out about the coconut oil--You're right when you mentioned about the Goldens having such a high rate of cancer--I read a few years ago that 85% of Goldens die from some form of cancer--I think it may be even higher than that...But I'm going to try it; my friend that owns a health food store has ordered some for me.
