- Happy is so happy to have her house again and her yard. She was getting use to Tinker. But never trusted her like she did Bambi b/c Tinker moved so fast. Tinker never bite her like she did me.
- This was Pretty Boy !!! If you can love a wild animal I loved this boy and believe it or not he really liked me too!! I could go out back and call him and he would come. He lived 8 years. A very long time for a wild animal -- coon. He had a bunch of wives and babies with his wives. I knew everyone of his wives and every one of his babies.

Hi Fern, we are happy that Happy is happy. Your little racoon friend looked great. Bet you're loving your speedy computer now. No worries, and love, Carol (and Stella and Rory)
ReplyDeleteHi Fern, glad that things seemed to have worked out for Happy. She looks much happier. So, have you watched many funny cat videos yet?
ReplyDeleteYOU had a raccoon!!!??? Wow! We have raccoons that come into our backyard but I run outside and bark at them so they'll leave. They're not nice raccoons like Pretty Boy, though. They're the fire-breathing kind. Oh, mom says that kind doesn't exist but I KNOW they do!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm super happy that Happy is happy. Heehee! She deserves it.

PeeS. Thank you for saying you'll try to play along during Rescue Me Week. Don't tell Brudder Ranger but we can bend some of those rules for you. So just do what you can do and that'll be plenty!
Happy does indeed look pleased!
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet picture of Pretty Boy. Raccoons are so cute!

I'm so jealous! We don't have any raccoon except some skinny squirrels here.
ReplyDeleteSo glad the Happy is happy and everyone is happy at home.
Enjoy the high speed!!!

ReplyDeleteHappy does look happy! We have raccoons around here too, but none come visiting.
Have a great weekend Fern and a Happy Halloween too!

ReplyDeleteI think I would like Racoons, but we never see live ones out here. I would like skunks too but My Vickie says I would be happier if I made friends with Devil Cat....
ReplyDeleteI am glad Happy is happy.
My Vickie says to tell you thanks for helping her out with your comments on Jamie.

Have just noticed you have a quilt lover as a title on your blog too. We don't know if you have come across Darling Millie on the Cat Blogosphere - http://darlingmillie/blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteher mom makes quilts and has done a quilt workshop recently - if you go to Millie's Blog there is a link to Patchery Menagerie and you might be interest to look at it.

I think raccoons are so cute, but they can be really devious too. At my previous home, they would come in via my cat door, and they'd eat every speck of dry food left out for the cats. Even after I quit leaving food out, they learned how to open the cupboard where the bag was, and ate and ate and ATE! LOL. I know they were just hungry but I couldn't afford to feed a whole family of raccoons! It was funny to watch them wash each piece of kibble though. =^..^=
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute image.
ReplyDeleteFern, you have such a big heart! Happy Halloween!
