Our little family would like to wish you all a wonderful week-end. We are just staying home and trying to enjoy our selves as much as this heat will let us. We have been over 100 degrees with the feel like tems 110!!!!
The fly in the ointment--- Happy !!!!
Tinker is really doing very good. She is being a very good girl. She is eating good now and she is house broken. She hasn't made a mess in the house since last Tuesday!!! We don't have to be on leash when walking in the yard!!! She is doing real good!!
Have a good one, Fern & Tinker

  4. thanks for the "Good Weekend" wishes. We don't have much planned either. Which of course I think is just Lazy on My Vickie's part.

I mean, it is HOT out there, I think that calls for a trip to the lake and swimming.

So excited to read about Tinker.

We have been on the missing list lately and missed out about Tinkers coming to you.

We are going to take a bit of time and read over the days we missed so we can get to know Tinker better.

Take care and stay cool (Which I guess means, "Stay Inside"

  9. Hi Fern and Tinker, I knew that it would take some time settling in but with all the love you pour into Tinker, she would adjust quickly.

  10. Tinker knows how lucky she is to have you for her Mom. What a good girl, but I know how it is to introduce a new dog to the cat or cats in the household. After 1.5 years, our cats are just now adjusting to Sage. Of course it doesn't help that she likes to chase them.....

Thanks for your comment about Toby and the liver. Unfortunately he only has a couple of weeks left, so he's getting all the yummy stuff he can eat. At least his last days will be happy!

  11. Congrats on your new pup Tinker. Glad she is fitting into the family and is house trained.

Pees - it took our cats about a year to become adjusted to Penny.

  15. Hi Fern,

Tinker is a very smart girl to learn the rules so quickly. Keep an eye on her around that broken section of fence. She's still a puppy and still learning.

You're doing a great job with her!

  16. Hi Miss Fern! Gosh, I've been away what seems like furever. I LUVS Tinker! She's so very cute and I'm so glad she's settling in good and learning how to act nice in the house. I didn't really know how to act in a house either but my mom and dad and Brudder Ranger were real patient with me and taught me everything I needed to know. Tinker is super duper lucky to have you for her foster mommy cuz she's gonna learn a lot and be luved on a lot!!!

  18. Hi Fern, thanks for the note. We're very glad to learn that Tinker and you are bonding fabulously. Unfortunately, it might take a bit of time for Happy to come around but once Happy realizes that Tinker means no harm and some "ground rules" have been established, that everything will be fine.

  24. This is my first time i visit here. I found so many entertaining stuff in your blog, especially its discussion. From the tons of comments on your articles, I guess I am not the only one having all the leisure here! Keep up the good work. I have been meaning to write something like this on my website and you have given me an idea. Sbobet

  25. Great post! I?m just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well - resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case. Agen Judi Online
