A Christmas quilt in July. This is when people make Christmas quilt !! This is a quilt I saw in a quilt show in Jacksonville. Someone worked very hard on this quilt.
I have nothing to tell you today. I am very tired after a busy holiday week end!!! Tom was home for three days!! It was wonderful having him around for that extra day!!! He is such a nice man, my Tom!!!
Love coming your way, Bambi, Happy & Fern

ReplyDeleteBlogger has been a very mean ill tempered bear today. No comments would post earlier today. They are just starting to roll in.

Hi Fern, my husband also had three days off from work. We went to Panama City, Florida for a couple of days. No oil or tar balls yet.
ReplyDeleteIt was absoutly beautiful. It was a nice break that we both needed. Had a lot of fun too.
Oh, I love that quilt. So cute. And the Christmas thoughts are appreciated here in our hot weather :o) It's in the upper 90's and I'm going to a drum & bugle corps competition tonight. They have delayed it to 8:00 because of the heat. Those poor kids - they'll be cooking. Hope they're drinking their water!!!

Beautiful quilt. Many restaurants here have 'Christmas in July' because the weather is just right for a traditional Christmas Dinner. Usually it's too hot and people have cold meats and salads in December.

Oh, we hit 100, too. I prefer snow myself anyway, so that quilt looks great!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you for coming by my blog and saying those nice things. I'm delighted to be friends. About the puppy and puppy daddy - they were both adopted before me, so hopefully, they're doing fine.

I just came back to say that we kind of got our Happy the way you got yours. Except we knew he came from next door and his people were gone. We've posted about it. He wasn't too Happy then. It's so funny that we both have cats named Happy who kind of invited themselves to live with us though, isn't it?

Looks like alot of hard work was put into that quilt Fern. We are wishing it was December around here, it has been so hot,you really can't even go outside the last few days.
