Abby's Two Babies

I have writers block!! What to blog about??? Well today I got the first baby coons pictures of this season. The adult coon is Abby. The two other coons in the pictures are Abby's two babies!!! I have not gotten close enough yet to tell weather they are girls or boys. Today was a very big step. Abby's babies will show the others that they can come and eat with their mothers without danger!!
We had a heat index of 115 degrees today .
Love coming your way, Fern and the coons

  4. Hi Fern! I am finally use to your raccoons without giving you a lecture! LOL. The babies are beautiful! I have writers block a lot, especially on my other blogs. Did you know I have another blog called what matters most is kindness? It's fun, it is more on my daily life than anything else. I have some nice followers at that one too! So please feel free to come on over!
    Have a good day!

  13. Kim at Golden Pines posted a picture of 3 raccoons she saw on her way to work last week. It made me think of you and your tame raccoons.

I have writers block too - I think we need to have a contest or something.

  14. Sending you a Huge Hello from the great (and cooler) State of Alaska! What a sweet little blog you have, Fern. I love your old lady cat and Bambi the dog. And your racoon family too, although I would be afraid of them... stay cool and drink lots of icy water...and thank you for visiting my blog. Hugs to you and your critters!!!

  15. Hi Fern,
What a cute picture of Abby and her wee babies.
Looks like they feel quite at home dining with you. They are very fortunate to have good food and water in this heat.
    Happy Wed.

  16. Hello Little Coons! So cute!
We're still planning to go to lake next week. I'm sure the lake water feels like bath water, but the dogs will have fun getting wet!
Got to go cut grass before the rains starts!
    Hugs,
    ~K

  19. Aren't those babies so adorable! It will be so much fun to watch them grow. Thank goodness you provide them with nice cool water and tasty treats. Weather that extreme could take quite a toll on the little ones and mum too if she is still nursing, We take being able to quench our thirst for granted. Animals don't have that luxury.
