Last Thursday they (TV) said we would have rain everyday through the holiday. Four days of rain. We had 1 tenth of an inch!!! The hole 4 days!!! I hope they are wrong about the hurricane season!!!!
In the award I got from Ninny's Notes one of the questions was if you were a tree what kind of tree would you be?? I would like to be a flowering tree, but that is just what I would like to be!!! I know me and that is not what I WOULD BE!!! I would be an OAK tree!! That is what I would be. That is my personality!!!
Love all you guys so much, Happy, Bambi & Fern
You are an Oak tree, my friend! Strong and proud! Hope you are enjoying your garden! Keep smiling!
ReplyDeleteWell Fern that must be a friend of yours in our backyard..we LOVE oak trees!

Hi there, When I think of an Oak tree I think of strength and I can definitely see that in your life Fern. Plus you love to be a habitat for so many critters and I know an oak, tall and mighty, would provide shelter and shade...so good choice.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day.
Hugs, Noreen
Hi Fern! Well, the only time out weather forcasters are correct is when a tornado is coming! They do that real good! I doubt the hurricane season will be bad. They gloom and doom every year about major hurricanes and we haven't had one since Katrina.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!

Oak Trees are beautiful. Neat leaves, lots of shade, acorns for the wildlife and they live a really long time! Nice pick!

Hi Fern, I like oak trees, I have some acorns to plant too.
ReplyDeleteRemember, not only are oak trees strong, but they provide shelter and shade (comfort)...just like you do for the critters.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
~K
We've had lots of rain, which we needed badly!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I'm a cross between an oak and a willow - strong but flexible in life!
North Carolina rec'd all the rain you were supposed to get and there is still more to come,
ReplyDeleteAn Oak Tree very interesting. I'd be a Red Bud...I love their heart shaped leaves.

Is that Happy kitty we see? We just love cats.
ReplyDeleteYes, an oak tree really suits you. It offers shelter, shade, provides food and nesting places for animals.
I think I'm a palm tree. I can whip around in bad stormy times and loose all my coconuts but I never break.
Fern
ReplyDeleteOak trees are cool. I would like to be a palm tree, cuz they look neat.
