Another Mother's Day pasted

Good morning friends. Another Mother's day pasted. My oldest son called me and sent this card, my youngest
sent an e-mail. My youngest has just got a computer about 3 months ago and is learning to use it. He is doing it on his own but coming along pretty good. My oldest has had a computer for over 20 years.
How was your Mother's day??? How long have you had a computer?? I have had this one, my first, one a year and 4 months. I must say I LOVE the computer!!! It has brought all my blog friends to me!!! I appreciate the computer so very much!!! I can't ever see living without one ever again.
Please tell me about your experience with computers. I would love to hear about it.
The garden is coming along. it is a mess right now or I would show it to you.
We 'll get it straighten up and I'll get pictures and show you all.
Love my blog friends, Bambi & Fern

  1. I am happy you had a nice Mother's Day! I did too! I have had a computer for more years than I care to remember! I agree -- I don't know what I would do without it! Can't wait to see more of your flower pics. I sure enjoy seeing them -- you do such a nice job! Take care. Keep smiling!

  2. Happy Mother's Day Fern - I thought about you yesterday but didn't have the opportunity to stop by or email.

Great questions!! I have had a computer in my home for over 25 years - our baby was just over a year old when we got our first one and she will be 27 in August. Computers have sure come a long way since that Commodore 64! And the internet was only in people's dreams. I didn't ever imagine that today I'd have so many virtual friends and be blogging under the auspices of my dogs!

    Have a great sunny day.

  3. Lovely, sweet card! Glad you had a good day!

I started working w/ computers when I was teaching...My first graders knew a lot more about them than I did when I first started!
I love my computer too, especially now that I am retired and can use it just for fun!!!
So glad I met you through the computer!
    Hugs to all,

  4. Hi fern! I just love my computer, too. We got our first computer about 14 years ago. All of a sudden we could "talk" with people all over the world and it was an amazing thing! I got a laptop two Christmases ago and really like it because I can use it in any room of the house. I love to blog and started my blog about a year and a half ago. It is so fun and I can't imagine life without my computer! Love your flowers!

  5. A computer has been in this household for about 20 years. Find it hard to be without now. This one has dementia. It is slow, easy to confuse and forgets what buttons have been pressed! But, it still works.

Glad you had a happy Mother's Day.

  7. We have had a computer for at least 15 years. Computers are amazing things that connect us with people from around the world. Great things and great friendships come out of networking on computers

  9. Hi Fern

Glad you had a nice Mother's day. I have had my own computer since I was getting ready for Library School, to get my Master's in Library Science. It was a hand-me-down from my dad, in about 1991. I was not sure then, but now I can't imagine life without one.

Daisy says thanks for the nice birthday wishes.

  11. I am glad you had a good mothers day. I have had a computer for a lot of years and also sometimes find it hard to imagine back to when it took forever to dial up and you kept geting booted off all the time and starting up all over again. I had to write everything down at first and was on the phone to my son all the time saying help. Now I would be so lost without the internet, as would we all I think.. Hugs GJ xx

  12. Hi Fern.....heavens no we are not mad at anyone...just trying to keep up with everything at home and at my parent's house. The last few weeks have been a buzz with doctors for both of them. What a lovely card from your son.

  13. I forgot to thank you for working so hard to connect to my blog today! It is not easy to connect when you have a "dial-up" computer via AOL or some other type of dial-up computer and I appreciate that you tried so hard to leave a comment! I think you should look into another service so you can connect faster with all of your blogger pals! If you need advice, please let me know!
