Hi friends!! Liz, from Ninny's Notes gave me this nice award. That is so sweet of you Liz!!!! Thank you!!!! There are questions of course and I am suppose to pick others to post this pretty picture and answer all the questions. It is a very nice picture. And I am going to answer some of the questions.. Good for me!!!
One of the questions was, Do you drink coffee or tea?? That is not the first question, but it is the easiest... Tea, I hardly ever drink coffee. I really don't like coffee unless it is doctored up with lots of cream and sugar. I am trying to keep the weight off and cream and sugar doesn't do that at all!!!! Tom came home with a plant that is a Stevia last Saturday and that plant is a natural sweetener. We made tea with mint leaves and 2 leaves from the new Stevia plant Saturday night and that is the best tea I have ever had, with no sweetener in it except the new plant!!! If you ever see it at a store or farmers market do get it!! It is wonderful. I had been putting honey in my tea but now I don't have to have any sweetener but just two leaves of Stevia!!! That will help keeps a few pounds off!!!!!
Thank you Liz you are a good friend and I am honored you choose me for this award!!!!
Come back tomorrow and I will answer another question.....
Lots of love heading your way, Bambi & Fern

Congrats on your award Fern!
ReplyDeleteI drink both coffee and tea. Coffee is mostly in the morning.
I have never tried Stevia before but I've heard of it.
I will have to try and find some Stevia....sounds great! I like coffee! REALLY like it! Strong and with nothing in it! Tea is okay but only if it's from my tea garden. I like honey in mine too! Hope all is going well in your world. Take care and keep smiling!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on this pretty award...
ReplyDeleteI never drink coffee...My mint is tall and I've been cutting it to put in my iced tea. YUM!

ReplyDeleteHi Fern,
ReplyDeleteOh I love strong coffee just like Rem's mom.
I like hot tea sometimes. I like my tea, sweet with fresh mint and lime....I'll have to look for a Stevia plant.

Our mom likes both coffee and tea - coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon! We've heard of stevia but have never tried it! We'll look for the plant. Thanks, Fern!

We are tea drinkers here. Nice and dark and strong. We can't tolerate sugar and usually don't like artificial sweeteners.
ReplyDeleteWe have heard of stevia as a non caloric sweetener but have never seen in it plant form.
We want a stevia plant! Love the idea of adding a few natural leaves. Thank you, Fern, for teaching us something new.
Hello Fern,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for receiving such a beautiful award! You do deserve it and I cannot wait to see what other questions you are supposed to answer because it's always nice to learn more about the bloggers because sometimes we know more about the pets than the humans!
I won a Versatile Blogger award from Frankie Furter a few days ago and it was such an honor because he is one of the best bloggers I know! I had to answer tell the blogger pals 7 things about me so I hope you will take a look sometime!
HI Fern and family, I've have been reading your posts but somehow missed this one. You deserve the award and taught us something new about you. I drink both coffee and tea but now that I'm off sugar and dairy I use almond milk. I used to use honey in my tea, then switched to Agave but also love Stevia. With the warm weather I'm drinking lots of iced sun tea that is unsweetened-again no sugar and hoping to lose a few pounds. You mentioned your grandmas hair plight and it made me think about being at my hairdressers yesterday for a cut-afterwards looking on the floor and wondering when my natural color became the same as my moms....go figure.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
Hugs, Noreen
