Our home grown Turmeric

The second photo is our home grown turmeric.  isn't it beautiful !!!!!!!!!!  There is a lot of turmeric there.  It will last us months!!!  You use it just like you would ginger root and you store it the same too. We put it in almost everything we cook!!  It is the best thing for inflammation in the body.  It will stop Alzheimer's in it's tracks!!!
We take it in pill form also!!!  If you don't know about it you should learn. It is called Indain Gold!!!  B/c it came from there!!

Love coming your way,  Circle, Allie, Max & Fern

  3. THAT is very good information. You have a BIG crop of it. It must be delicious when it is HOME GROWN.

  4. Hi Fern, I have never seen the plant form of Tumeric. I do know that it is very very good for liver problems(which I have); I haven't taken it because it is so very expensive. Thank you for sharing-I must investigate growing it. Sending love your way.

  7. Hello Friend! What a lovely picture of you, and what great info on termeric--I had no idea, and will also have to do some more reading on it. Hope your weather is warmer, and YOU are doing well! Lots of love coming from warmer Virginia! :-)

  8. I have them at home too and I use it for cooking curry. However, we have to handle them with extra care as the yellow stain is very strong and difficult to be got rid of.

  10. I know it was recommended for Sam but it was too late. I don't think I've ever seen the plant before - I usually just see the powdered form.
