Happy is different then any other cat that I have ever had and I have had a lot of cats. Showing you the pictures can you see what is different about her?????????????
She never curls her tail-- never!!!! Her tail is completely normal other wise. She never curls it when sleeping also!!! It is always hanging out to get stepped on!!!!!! Poor baby it has been stepped on a few times too!!! It has been rolled on!! Have you ever had a cat that didn't curl it's tail???????
Happy Labor Day!! Hope you have had a good one. Tom worked today so it was just like another day for us.
Love coming your way, Happy, Zoie & Fern

How funny! I didn't notice it until you pointed it out. Nope, every cat I've ever known has curled their tail. Happy IS different.
ReplyDeleteYes she is!! She is 21 to 23 years old and can hardly move from arthritis!!! Poor baby!! But she still loved her home and she loves her lovin!!!
DeleteMy tabby Henry doesn't curl his tail either and that's because he has a knot in it from when he was a kitten (before I adopted him) and a little boy slammed a door on his tail accidentally! Happy and Henry could be twins! What a beautiful cat!
ReplyDeleteI guess Happy has had an injury with her tail before she came to live with us. I have felt it for the signs but it feels alright. She was 5 to 7 year old buy the time she came to us so said the vets. He didn't find anything wrong with her tail by feel either. Oh well she shell keep her secret!
DeleteHi Fern-
ReplyDeleteOur last cat was a Manx...no tail, so not much to report. He was a great cat...full of spunk just like our dogs!
Happy Labor Day!
Wyatt's Mom
Thanks so much for your visit!
DeleteHappy is a very special girl and she gets lots of love from you and Tom. She is a happy girl!
ReplyDeleteYes she is!! She gets fed when she ask for food. She always has fresh water and she is a drinker!! She gets lovin when she ask for that too. She is a happy cat!! LOL
DeleteHi Fern and Happy,
ReplyDeleteWe don't really know anything about cats since we've never had any - just watched them on the computer and TV.
Hope you had a great weekend.
XOXO

Oh that is unusual but so long as she is healthy and happy that is all that matters.. Nice to see you Fern and hope your eyes are doing ok.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you Carol!!!! I wish I could say that my eye is better but sadly I cab not! I lose little by little sight, trying so hard not to read much and not strain my eye!
DeleteHi Fern, nope all of my dad's cats all curled their tails. We hope that all is good at your house. My dad worked on Labor Day too. But he did it from home. He says that the computer at home is just an extension of his regular office.
ReplyDeleteMy Tom had a half way descent week last week it work!!! YAY!! So he mostly went in to clean up from all the activity!!
DeleteYou have a good Dad Sam!!
Howdy Fern, Happy looks unusual to us cause our Penny cat hasn't got a tail! She had it amputated when she was hit by a car. Broke her leg too but she is now 13 and has never missed her tail. Mum told her it was just one less thing to wash haha. Take care all. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteHappy would probably not like to have her tail too!! Less of her to clean!! LOL
DeleteHappy is 21 to 23 years old now!!!
I would say the prior injury theory is a good one. Either way, she is a happy kitty and has lived a long life! You have been blessed with her.
