Hi Fern, we recently put up new feeders and we've seen a few of the little fellas around. It's still only about 55 degrees up here but the hummingbirds are a hardy lot and they don't seem to mind the rain and coolish temperatures.
ReplyDeleteMOM feed the hummingbirds also. Plus we have all the natural stuff they like.
ReplyDeleteZoie and I are a like. I LOVE sticks. small or big, I like even if it is a whole fallen tree, it's still a stick to me.
Blessings,
Goose
Fern I just put out my hummingbird feeder the other week, I always wait until I see the first one and then I put it out :) I havent caught any drinking out of it yet but I cant wait!
ReplyDeleteIm so glad Zoie loves chewing on sticks - Haylie enjoys that too.

ReplyDeleteHummingbirds eat mosquitoes? I had no idea!
ReplyDeleteMy MIL is eagerly awaiting their return to our area. We are deep enough in the woods we rarely see them at the house.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that hummingbirds ate misquitoes either. Learn something new again today. I love those little hummers too, but they won't be here for another month probably. They love one hanging basket that is kept outside by the kitchebn window.,
ReplyDeleteOH, how wonderful that the hummingbirds are back! We are huge lovers of Goose from the Gospel of Goose blog and noticed he loves your blog. We wanted to pop over and connect. We're now your happy followers. We think you might enjoy See Beautiful too. :)
