Still watting for a dog, Happy is doing her best.

Hi Bloggville  friends,  Yesterday I was having blurry problems.  Still a little today but a bit better.  Oil of Oregano is what is so good for allergies, and that is what I am taking.  My eyes a bit better today.
Above is our very old but very sweet Happy cat.  Happy does not purr very loud.
I really miss that. Happy does not sit on your lap,  I REALLY miss that.  She does sit or lay close to you but not on you!!  Happy is 19 to 21 years old and as old and set in her ways that she is, Tom (hubby) has decided she needed a change in her diet.  So now she is eating some raw meat everyday.  In the beginning she loved it but now 2 weeks later she is not loving it as much!!   Cats!!!!!!!!
Love coming your way,  Happy & Fern

  1. Happy's long life is a tribute to your excellent care of her!!! But I know that cats really can be finicky, can't they? I've had some that have done the same kind of thing from one meal to the next. But the one we have now, will eat anything, even dog-food--I just don't tell her what it is!!

Enjoy your day, I'm glad you can see better today and hope it's even better tomorrow!! Take care!!!

  4. Cats can be picky so we just have to try to keep them happy and her name is Happy so we want her to be Happy for sure. She sure looks good for an older cat. Take care and have a great and fun day . Thanks for visiting our blog.

  6. Hi Fern and Happy - I like most cats. I'm not sure what they eat. My dad says maybe squirrels, birds and little kids and sometimes dogs . I think he's kidding me. Ha, ha. Maybe you could mix in a little of Happy's old food with the raw. We've all been raised on raw. Take your time finding another dog. Maybe you could foster several over a few weeks. One at a time of course to see how they are in your house with Happy and Tom and you.

  8. Hi Fern, cats are funny creatures aren't they. We have had a lot over the years, our oldest Elsa was 18 when she passed. She was the smallest but was also the loudest purrer.

Some liked to sit on our lap some were just content to be near. Some were real bed hogs too. Enjoy Happy. She looks wonderful for her age. No worries (especially for Happy) and love, Carol (and Stella and Rory)

  18. Happy is a very pretty kitty! What kind of raw meat do you feed her? Does she get a variety? Maybe mixing it up a little would be more exciting for her? Just a thought :)

    Purrs,
    Carmine and Milita

Happy looks so satisfied and pretty.

By the way, the header and the halloween graphic were done by Rosie. She has her little website that you can visit if you're interested in her work.
