This is as good as it gets for now!!! The top pic I took yesterday and it is the only one that had all of her in. The bottom 2 Tom took last night in the dark.
She is a big big girl. She is so very sweet !!! She is as tall as I am!! Zoie is here b/c she needed a home so badly. She is probably too big for me but I am going to try very hard to make it work. She is still a puppy and I know it is going to be hard for me!!! I am going to give it my best shot!!!!!

ReplyDeleteYou give her plenty of time... I am SURE that she will be a PERFECT match fur you. Weims are WONDERFUL dogs. So very LOYAL and LOVING. She will be bonded to you both in a VERY short time. I REALLY want this to work for YOU and fur Zoie. It would break her heart if it doesn't. Weims are so attached to their People. AND they are REALLY SMART dogs.
Hi Fern, she's as tall as you are? I think that Zoie looks very nice and we're hopeful that this one works out. I know that Happy is unhappy but how is her bladder infection coming along? We'll keep our fingers crossed that Tinker finds as good a home as Zoie has.

ReplyDeleteVELCRO DOG... that is JUST EXACTLY what Weims are like!!! AND from what you said... She has ALREADY BONDED to YOU.. Now it is Your Turn to BOND with HER!!! I TRULY believe this is a match made in heaven!!!! I know you wanted LITTLE... butt sometimes BIG is BETTER and I think Zoie is the Perfect PERFECT example of that.
She will STAND BY YOU... through Thick and Thin!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Fern! I am new to you blog (Frankie sent me over). He told me that you have a new Weimaraner and well, I am SO happy to hear this. I am actually the Relinquishment Coordinator for Louisville Weimaraner Rescue so Weims hold a VERY special place in my heart. As I am sure you have already figured out Weims LOVE being with their people. I know that you wanted a smaller dog, but I hope you give this sweet girl a chance and don't fault her for being a bigger pup. I am not sure how old your new baby is, but Weims can be a little hyper as puppies. Weims do well when they get a lot of excercise, not only physically but mentally. They always say that a tired Weim is a good Weim. Weims just adore their people and want to be with them all the time, which is why they are known as "Velcro" dogs. We have a Weim, she is 11 and is the best girl around. She is super smart (sometimes to smart for her own good). I would love to be friends and if there is anything I can do to help you with your new Weim, please don't hesitate to ask. :)

I can just Visualize YOU and Zoie.. out working together in your Veggie and Flower Gardens. I can see (in my mind's eye) Zoie sitting by your feet. And I can hardly wait to see Mr. Tom doing his Sunday Morning.. Nail Filing routine again.
