Hello dear friends, While the rest of you are in the deep freeze we are cooler but not in the freeze. Here is a couple pictures of our greenery. The picture below is one of our Oregano plants.
The two above is our Sasanqua Camellia that is blooming this time a year.We had a lovely Thanksgiving with our fresh caught fish!! Haven't heard from David and Cathy b/c they are at her family this week-end and I never hear from them when they are there.
That is part of the trouble having a son. When you have a son and he is married to someone who doesn't live close then they will be at her family's place on those special days and they come to see you just before or just after, but thank God they come!!!
Tom has taken the whole Thursday- Friday- Saturday-Sunday off and that is wonderful!! We have been having a great time together. I love it when he is home!! We cook together and have the best meals and talks. I love it!!!

Ha ha! Miss Fern, Mom said she thinks Dad's family believes she hatched out of an egg. They never seem to plan any times when we all go to Mom's mom or dad's houses, so we do A LOT of running around at the holidays. Imagine having to run to five family Christmases! Every year, they plan on becoming orphans and hiding away during the holidays.

We're very lucky because our son and his wife celebrate Thanksgiving with her parents and Christmas with us. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend!
