Oh Bambi Shame!!! I have been working hard cooking Bambi's food for almost 3 months now. The diet was working!!!Her lypoma's were going away. Many had gone away.
Last Wednesday I have a dentist appointment to have my teeth cleaned. I rarely leave the house b/c I don't drive any more. So Tom had come home from work to take me to the dentist.
Our cat Happy is very old kitty now. She is 18 to 20 years old and she doesn't want to walk much or be picked up b/c she is in pain a lot of the time. Long story short her cat food is left on the floor for her at all times. All night Bambi never touches it. BUT GO AWAY and that cat food is gone down the hatch!!!! I FOREGOT to pick it up!!!!!!! SHE ATE IT. OH Shame Bambi !!
Her lypoma's are BACK!! I feel so bad!!! Not all of the lypoma's are back but the ones that were the largest are back and bigger then ever!! She ate one bowl of cat food and the lypoma's are back!!! SOOO we start again! We start again.
I hope you have had a good week-end. Other then what I have just told you -- we did.
Love coming your way, Bambi , Happy & Fern
Oh my goodness. From one bowl of catfood? I know that I'm not allowed to eat any catfood because of too much protein in it and Shar Pei kidneys are something you have to watch. Still, one bowl. I hope that they go away as quickly now that you have her back on her proper diet.
ReplyDeletelotsa licks, Lola
I hope they go back down quickly, if they reacted like that from just one bowl of food. I guess every once in a while, we all have to just cheat on the diet a little and enjoy the forbidden pleasures of life!

OH NO Fern!!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that and hopefully this time, they will go away faster than last time!! GUess Bambi just couldnt resist, that happens sometimes. I had a GREAT weekend and am feeling better and not itching as much

Oh dear. Diets stink. (That's what we hear Moma saying.) We hope the results of the return-to-the-diet are speedy and effective.
ReplyDeleteMuch love

Oh NO! But sometimes dogs do not know what is good for them! Paddy has pancreatitis - and if he eats anything high in fat - he could end up in emergency. That didn't stop him trying to eat some ice cream that fell on the floor! They make us worry so! We hope you can get Bambi back to health asap! Lots of licks

Poor Bambi! We hope you enjoyed that cat food because now you must go back on your diet, which, by the way, is wonderful foodies!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
Why would Bambi want to eat stinky cat food when she has such wonderful home cooked cuisine!! Maybe you should put Happy on Bambi's diet.

Hope that when she goes back on her diet, Bambi's feet go right back down. Some dogs have very sensitive systems but it will work both ways. Hope you had a good weekend, I had a great day at the fair with my mom yesterday.

Oh dear,
ReplyDeleteFeel well soon Bambi .....
I hope her condition will improve once she is back on home-cooked meals.
Sending our purrs to Bambi!
Dogs and toddlers...they are so much alike. Turn your back and...anyway, hope Bambi gets back on track. Have a good week, fern!

Bambi - no CAT food, we hope you hear that. We sure hope you return to your nonlipomas status quickly. You have too good a mom to put her through that.
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Oh NO Bambi....I know my 3 pups would have done the same thing!
ReplyDeleteI guess it would be like leaving me alone with a piece of chocolate cake. ;)
Hugs Girlfriend,

I hope Bambi is okay real soon. I know things like that do happen to all of us...mistaya makes a few mistakes once in a while too. Your wonderful food will return Bambi to better health real soon. Hugs, Gail and Mistaya

ReplyDeleteBambi saw a chance and went for it. I hope you are able to get things under control.
Madi and Mom
You are such a good Mommy to cook Bambi her food and what a bummer that one bowl of cat food brings back the lipomas. Our Maggie had them and never got into the cat food--go figure.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that :( Haylie is on a diet to get weight off her for hip surgery and I let her slide for a few weeks and she is back where we started so we started back the diest sunday to get that weight off so we feel your pain!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I gave you an award! You can pick it up, along with the rules, at http://sagechronicles.wordpress.com/.
ReplyDeleteWell in Bambi's defense....she didn't know....she just thought "hey, treats". I guess next time they will be put up high, huh? I really wish you could of gotten that BIG package of sunshine to us but I know how it goes. ha ha! Have a great day, my friend....keep smiling!
