Good morning blog friends, today is a nice day even though most of Florida is not having a nice day. We have no rain here. We have had 2 days of rain in all of September here. A grand total of 2 inches in September only...Above is our very old Happy. She is somewhere between 18 and 20 years old. She is in a lot of pain at times and doesn't walk much any more but we keep her going b/c she is still enjoying life and very happy most all the time. She loves her loving. It is very important to her to stay close and watch when we are cooking or at the computer desk. Of course if what we are doing takes more then 10 minutes then she falls asleep!!!! She is still a very Happy cat!!!!!
The above picture is of this years baby Issy. She is a little over 4 months old. The picture below is her Mother Abby. Abby is 2 years old and just had her first litter of two coons. She is the best Mother of all the mothers that I feed.....People say they can't tell one coon from the other. Can you see a resemblance between the two??
I should have entered Abby's picture in the tongue contest!! But it's over, I missed it!!
Bambi lypoma's lumps are staring the trip back down!!! It is a slow process.

We've been dry the past two or so weeks and I can tell. My potted plants are drying out. Temps are coming down our highs wil be in the mid-seventies next week. The raccoons are so cute!

I do hope you have more enjoyable days with your precious "Happy." Our first cat lived to be almost 20 years old too--We'd gotten her as a kitten, and in the end, I still felt it wasn't enough time.
Congratulations on the award and on Bambi's feeling better. That's really wonderful. It's raining and windy and stormy here but things look better for the weekend.

I am glad bambi is getting better. And it is hard to believe that sweet September is almost gone. Our summer has flown by and now we are on to the next season. What fun it has been so far. I hope you have a great fall! Hugs, Gail and Mistaya
