Good morning friends. Another rain filled day!!!! We are suppose to have rain all day!!!! I feel so sorry for the animals!!! So many days this fall and winter are stay in days!!! Happy in the first picture is an indoor and outdoor cat. She love to be in and she loves to be out. I wish I knew how old she was. She is getting very arthritic!!!!! She can't jump up on the bed or on her food table any more. Tom has put a small table next to the bed so she can jump on that and then on the bed. She uses it all the time. We have had to put her food down on the floor and tell Bambi she can't have it. That has been fun!!!! But Bambi has now gotten the message. She leaves it alone even at night. Bambi is such a good girl!!!!!
This is the most currant picture of Tom and I you have ever seen. I can't tell you with any assurance what year that was taken, but not that long ago. We wear the same things at Christmas every year so it was taken 2 to 4 years ago. I think it was 3 years ago. The reason I am showing you the picture is to show you my hands. You can see the arthritis in my hands!!!!
My hands are really in bad shape!!!
I can still type thank God. I can still talk to my friends. You are so very important to my well being!!!!! Thank you for all your comments!!!!!!!!!
Love you lots, Bambi, Happy and Fern
Arthritis is so painful, isn't it? My knuckles are becoming so gnarly and anymore they hurt most of the time....or is it just in winter? If you take anything that helps, let me know.

Hi, my name is Remington. Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope we can be friends! I like your pictures. I am sorry your hands hurt.
ReplyDeleteHey Fern,
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here too. My sister who lives in MD is getting more snow on top of their 32 inches already, so I'll take the rain!
Bambi is a good girl to leave Happy's food alone. My dogs will gobble cat food if I don't watch them.
Hi Fern
ReplyDeleteHope you didn't get too much rain. Supposed to snow here tomorrow, hoping for a day off from work so I can quilt. Like you picture of Happy.

Hi Fern,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture of you and Tom. I sympathize with the arthritis - I think it is one of the "joys" of growing old.
Yesterday I threw out some scraps - and got rewarded with a raccoon. It made me smile and think of you - I got a few pictures so will blog about it soon.
Guess what - we have 9 puppies - 2 more were born after I put the picture on the blog.

ReplyDeleteMy hands are going to look like yours soon, I'm afraid...Mother and Grandma had arthritis and I always knew I would too!
The cold weather really makes them ache.
Hugs to you and critters,
Kit

Great photos - that cat does look happy - very good of Bambi to not eat his food - in this house any food left unattended for more than 10 minutes gets eaten by me (Sally)! Sorry to hear about your hands - hope there is something you can take to help?
