Monday memories

Memories of your animals are always inside of you!!!!!!!
Happy cat getting older.  She was only a year and a half from death in this picture.
Miss Amanda and I.  She was the greatest
dog!!!!  She was so loving!!! She would never leave this yard even when someone left the gate open.  She loved her home and me so much and I her!!!
Photo # 3 --- Joker!!!   Such a great dog he was and I didn't get him until he was older then my Shepherd was
when he died from cancer.  Photo #4 is Bruce and I and what a great great dog he was!!!
Bruce was the most special dog I have ever had!!!
I loved him almost more then life itself!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cried more for him then any other dog that I lost!!!  He was my baby boy!!!
This was Tinker.......  Tinker was a rescue dog I had for only 2 months!!!  Tinker dug out from under the fence a bunch of times!! She bit me a bunch of times!!!!   It was such shock to me!!!!  For over 70 years I had had dogs and not one wanted to go anywhere with out me and NO DOG ever bit me before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   SHOCK!!!!!
She went back to the rescue group and they were mad at me for sending her back!!!

Then there was Zoie!!!

Zoie came to me from a bad home where she had to stay in her crate 18 to 20 hours a day.  She never got walked and she started running away early in life.  They would let her go outside and she would jump their 4 ft. fence and be gone for days at a time. She would come home very hungry!!!
She loved me right away and I walked her many times a day!!!  She was never alone or had to stay in here crate!!!  She had a hole lot of love and kisses  from me and she loved that--- BUT---- she started running away and jumping the fence--a 6 ft fence-- within a month from coming to live with me!!!   I tried to make her want to stay here with me.  Every time she came home I would tell her something awful bad is going to happen to you out there!!!  You can not jump the fence!!!!!!!!!!!
You have to say home with your MOM!!!!
She had never learned how to walk on leash and I tried with her --- but no she didn't want to.~~~~~~
Bambi was the smartest dog I ever had and I had her almost 14 years!!!  Tom use to say --- you couldn't run her off with a stick and that was true--- not that I would ever want to!!!   She was the best and smartest dog I have had and it killed me to lose her!!!  I lost her 2011--June 3th.from heart failure.

We are losing that pretty trailer too today.  It is going up to Georgia to Lynn and Johns today!!!
They will get to sleep in a warm dry bed tonight!!!
Something they haven't done in years!!!
Good by trailer!!!!

Love coming your way, Fern

  3. I remember Tinker and Zoie. Youve had a good, full life with a lot of angels. Thats what I think dogs are, they're angels put on earth to remind us of unconditional love!

  5. What a great group of animals you have had in your life. I wish I would have taken more pictures of my 3 previous cats and one dog. Just didn't do much of that then and I regret it now.
