Going to post yesterday---- Going to!!!

I didn't get to it yesterday so I am here today instead.
Zoie is on my mind so much now!!!!!!!!  She loved her home here with us so much and I loved her so much and she loved being loved!!!!!!!  She wanted to kiss and kiss every 10 minutes!!!  All day long!!!!  That is the way she would wake me up every morning --a big kiss in the mouth!!!!!!
We all were so happy with her except for one thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!  She would jump the 6 ft fence when she wanted to go hunting next  door.   Now she didn't do it often!!  Not even once a month and I told her over and over again that that was a big NO NO NO!!!  The time she did jump the fence and get killed in the road she had gone almost 3 months with out jumping the fence!!!!!  I was hoping she was over that jumping---she was 30 lbs heavier then when she came to live with us but I was wrong and it kills me!!!  I miss her but I know now that it was all in the cards!!!  She was only suppose to be with me a short time b/c the next door was going to become a housing project!!!!  With 4 houses right up 6 ft from our fence!!!
My tale of woe!!!

Love coming your way,  Circle, Allie, Max &  Fern

  3. We agree with Frankie. Zoie knew that you loved her and that was the greatest gift that you could have given her, Fern ♥

  4. Zoie had and will always have such a special place in your heart. She knew how loved she was, couldn't have asked for more!

  5. Hi Fern, listen it wasn't your fault. There wasn't anything that you could have done differently. A chain or a rope attached to her would have meant a hanging if she jumped the fence with that attached to her. You have good memories of her and in the end, even if she had gone naturally, you'd still have good memories of her. Right?

  6. Howdy Fern, we just know the time you had with Zoie was the time she was loved the most in her life so you can be proud of that! Have a good weekend dear friends. No worries, and love, Carol and Stella and Rory

  8. Hi Fern, Loved seeing all the pictures; I know you miss your special girl so much. I think you gave her more love in that short time she was with you than she had ever had. I'm glad you have your cats to keep you company but somehow I think cats could never give as much love as a dog. Sending you warm hugs today.

  9. It doesn't matter how short a time you spend with a anipal, it is always very sad when they leave, but you did give her such love and care, which I know she gave you back in buckets! xox

  10. Oh, Miss Fern, there are some doggies that live for lots of years who don't get nearly as much love as Zoie did in her short time with you. She was LOVED and she was HAPPY and that's the best any of us can hope for.

  11. I love looking at the pictures of all your beautiful babies. I know it will always feel like Zoie's time with you was too short, but it was filled with love and happiness. I also know there's always a hole in our hearts when our sweeties leave us. They're such an important part of us.

  12. Frankie has the right idea, it's not the length of time but the quality of life. Zoie knew she was loved and she loved you back. It's hard to lose our furbabies but they are always with us in our hearts.
    Hugs,
    Judy
