Hi friends, I thought you might like to see a quilt that I saw in a Jacksonville quilt show. I thought the frog was so cute.

It is spring here in Fla. My Japanese Magnolia tree is in bloom!!!! Tom got me that tree for a Valentine gift back about 24 years ago. I just love that tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is just one stand of daffodils in bloom that is in the yard. Very pretty, I think!! So spring has spring here. We will have cold mornings but no more hard freezes. Light frost only and that will be wonderfulWe are suppose to get to 72 degrees today and 75 tomorrow!!!!!!!! Rain tomorrw also.

ReplyDeleteWe are happy to see spring poking its head out in north Florida. We're glad the long cold temperatures didn't seem to hurt the flowering plants and bushes. (We hope the same is true for our gramma ... she is worried about some of hers.) We LOVE spring. And we love that we get to enjoy the hints of it in pictures from friends like you. We have to wait a long time for color around here. (But it is sunny and pretty warm here.)
You know what song is playing right now? The Shadow of Your Smile ... "now when I remember spring, I will be remembering, the shadow of your smile."

ReplyDeleteBuffy was my dad's dog. He passed away 2 years ago and his friend took Buffy, then last November she couldn't take care of Buffy anymore so I took her. Best thing I have done in a long time!!!

Hi Fern what a cute quilt. Happy looks like she had a good walk yesterday. I love the magnolia tree we have a few around my neighborhood but they aren't blooming yet. We do have daffodils in full bloom though.
