My Granddaughter Shawna and Me and Animals

HI blog friends!! How is your day going?
Meet my Granddaughter Shawna. This picture was taken a few years ago now. She is a big girl and really enjoying her life right now. She has fond she likes boys!!! And they like her!!!!!!
Hang on Mom and Dad it will be a bumpy ride!!!

Below is a picture of Joker and myself. This picture was taken in 86. When I had a body that worked for my real good. A friend ask yesterday what breed Joker was and I told you all when I blogged last month, but everybody did not see last months blog. Joker is a Ibsen Hound.
I am not sure that I spelled it right. It is close anyway.
Joker and I started walking every morning early. At first we walked about a mile, then 2 miles, then 3 miles, then 4 miles, and after six years we were walking 5 miles. Joker died of kidney
failure when he was 12 years old. It was devastating to both Tom and I. We both cried a lot.
That is why I rescued Amanda as soon as I did.

Below is me getting older and fatter.....
I am wearing clothes that I made.
Before my body got so bad off I really love to sew and I made everything!!!!

I hope you enjoyed today post, I enjoyed writing it to you all. Welcome to my world!!!
I am a lover!! I love my husband and I love animals and my family!!!
Come again soon!!
Love my blog family too, Fern

  1. Hi Fern, you look just as good now as you did younger!!

It is nice to see the animals and your grand daughter

  2. Hi Fern,

How sweet to see your granddaughter blowing bubbles - we love trying to catch bubbles when Mom blows them for us.

    Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

  3. Hi Fern,
I loved seeing your g-daughter and Joker. Great pictures. We are in the Piedmont section of NC. Most of the songbirds and the hummers have headed down your way I'm sure. Our winter residents are cardinals, chickadees, titmouse,
jays, robins and Eastern Bluebirds. During spring and fall we might see a very different bird passing through NC.
    Enjoy your afternoon,
    Madi and Mom

  4. Hey Fern,

I've never heard of Joker's breed so had to look it up. He lived his full life expectancy and looks just like what I found on the web. He was so pretty.

Don't be so hard on yourself - you aren't fat!!

  5. Hee hee. Momma says she had a killer bod in 1986 too, but now she suffers from jolly bottom.

We always remember all our doggie pals, huh?

Better to be a granny to a addled less sense girl than a mom, right?

  6. That is a really nice picture of your granddaughter. You are not fat! That is cool that you used to walk so far. It is so sad to lose animal pals, I hate it and yet I wouldn't ever want to be without a pet.

  7. Woof! Hi There, I'm Sugar. Lovely photos - thanks for sharing. Just want to say hello and making new friends. Looking forward to your visit to my blog. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  8. Mom always says that we don't get older - we get better! You're a wonderful person, Fern and you love your family and pets. You can't do any better than that!

    Love ya lots
