Tomorrow will be friday! Next door!!

Hi friends!!!
The first 2 pictures were taken back last October.  The last 2 pictures were taken today.
There is 5 houses that they are working on right now.  When they are all done there will be 40 houses next door to me!!!!!!  BUT  I really don't think it will bother us one bit!!  At first I thought it would drive us nuts but the more the houses are going up the less I think they will bother us!!  They are getting 265,000.00 for them and they have 5 sold so far!! They can not see us and we can not see them from our house b/c of the hedges We have planted many many years ago. This house is almost sound proof thanks to Tom so I can not even hear them working over there.  I think only good will come of this next door project.   I am hoping anyway!!

Yesterday got away from me!!

I was cooking yesterday until I was so tired I couldn't sleep!!!  Know that doesn't make sense does it?????  But then again I do not make sense!!!  That is a LONG LONG story!!!  My eyes are already tired so I can not tell you the long story!!  Sorry!!

Maybe another day!!

I miss Zoie and Bambi and Amanda and Joker and Bruce so so much!!

Our kittens love cat nip but Circle does not!!!!!!
When I give the cats,, nip the kittens go for it like crazy and they start right in playing then they get into fighting  ---big time.........  Tell me what yours do with nip please????

Mondays memories

Pretty Boy and I do miss him so!!!!  I had him for 8 years!!!  Never knew coons lived that long!!!  If Pretty Boy had not been super smart I would have only got to know him for one summer, fall, winter and part of Spring and then he would have been run off by all the females, even the non -family girls.  They run off all the males coons!!!  That way there is no inter-breeding!!!  Pretty Boy was smart enough to go next door to live and came and see me at off times when the females were sleeping only.  The girls knew he was coming around --they could smell him but they never got to see him.!! I could go over to the south fence and call him and he would come down from the tree he was in and we would walk by the fence--him on the outside and me on the inside and we would walk and I would talk to him.  We would go over to the back fence gate and he would come in and I would feed him for the day and then we would do that again the next day.  For 8 years and the last time I feed him I knew it would be the last time,, he was so old looking and gray around his mouth and eyes.  That last day he didn't eat very much!!  I think he was just saying thanks and good by to me.

Bambi lived to be almost 14!!!  Part Whippet part lab.   I miss her too so much!!!  She was so smart too!!  She was the smartest dog I have ever had!!
But then again they were all smart!!!!!  Miss them all!!
