The good Old Days

It is almost the week-end already....... I have been thinking about the good old days when we were living in the country---no close neighbors. No one building 40 houses next door!!!  When the road out front was a 2 lane road. When I could feed the coons not in my yard but out back. It was always quiet out here.  There was no store just up the street.  I have lived in this house 40 years and things have changed so very much!!!  I guess things change but I miss the old days!!!

    Howdy Fern, 40 years in the same home sounds wonderful and you sure have seen changes. One thing that hasn't changed though is the love you and Tom share! We love your raccoon photos! No worries, and love, Carol (and Stella and Rory)

    A crowded neighborhood takes away the fun for raccoons and for those who love to feed them, for sure.

    No one can take away those memories. We lived in a place for awhile where the only neighbors were the wildlife, I miss that place sometimes. I guess we can't stop change unfortunately.
